  2. Vtcruising, We are sailing in an S1 on 2/17. Do you somehow request loungers before the sailing or after we are onboard? Thx.
  3. Ditto. We sailed in early Dec and the ship and staff were amazing. We will definitely sail this ship again especially for the price. If you can get I suite class enjoy James in Lumanie. He was excellent. judd
  4. Does anyone who has sailed on the Infinity has a picture of the hair dryer they provide?
  5. Probably depends on the level of service I think. After reading the comments in this section I think I am going to take some $5US bills and pass out as service determines. Like it was said, these people give up their families to be on this job and if they go out of the way they deserve extra I think.
  6. Fantastic. I am not Mr. Wealthy either but I have worked as a bartender and the tips, even small ones are appreciated.
  7. Hi, We have not sailed for a few years. One of the Go Best Perks is pre-paid tips. While we like that we also like to tip bartenders and wait staff with cash when they do a great job. Especially at the beginning of the trip so hopefully they remember us. Is this still accepted? Handing a staff person cash? Thanks for any comments.

  9. Does anyone know when the Edge is supposed to sail out of Freeport? Sorry if this has already been discussed.
  10. They ended up making it right for me by allowing me to use the price drop as part of an upgrade. That make me happy again.
  11. They ended up offering to upgrade me to a CS and apply the savings. I went along with this. The difference was not that much to make the upgrade.
  12. My TA said they would upgrade to a Celebrity Suite (from Sky Suite) for the difference. My TA said that just today she had the same situation with NCL and they give her client a ship credit for the price cut.
  13. I always check to make sure there aren't any new sales on a booked cabin as departure approaches. Today I found a -$400 price drop on an S1 Suite Infinity 5N sailing Dec. 3rd. My TA called to take advantage and was told: "After final payment Celebrity will not give a refund or ship board credit for the difference in cost." Not that long ago when I was a home based TA I regularly at least got my clients shipboard credit and sometimes a refund when the price dropped. I don't know if this is a new policy but worth noting. I would be curious if anyone else has run into this from Celebrity or other cruise lines. I am a regular Celebrity cruiser but not happy with this. Judd
  14.  Do anyone know if they host a "wine" dinner on the Infinity? We have attended several on the Solstice class ships. It is something we have really enjoyed. I don't see it offered in the Cruise Planner. We are taking a quick 5 night trip in December to get us through until we sail the Edge on Feb. 17th next year LOL.  Thanks for any insight. Judd & Laura
