    I keep the handcuffs in the nightstand at home. My wife does not want to be embarrassed. WE use neckties as an alternative.

    Not really my business, but as a retired bartender why would you mix Bulleit with diet coke, or Tito'd wit diet sprite? Do you think it sounds distiguished? I could mix bar bourbon with diet coke and cheap vodka with diet sprite and you would not be able to know the difference.

    I recently returned from a cruise that stopped in LeHavre. We took a private tour to Normandy with stops in Bayeux (for lunch) the to Honfleur. Well worth it. Others to a tour to Paris and had very little time there.

    The point on Omaha beach we stopped at was where a national guard division landed - did not know they were there. The cemetery was very moving - especially the wall with 2000 MIA names. When they find one - a designation is put on the wall and the remains are buried there. To date they have recovered the remains of 20 servicemen.

    Is your father still alive? We did the Overlord tour 9B last month - the driver was very knowlegable. He had to go to school for 3 years to be a guide. We stopped at Omaha beach - I even gathered some sand - looking to find a survivor I can give it to. We also stopped in a small town for lunch, and then a town called Honfleur.

    It is not one more thing - it eliminates the card in your pocket. I wore mine on a lanyard.

    I remember in the "old days" when this was the custom. On the last day at breakfast, the waiter commented to me how empty the dining room was. He said those were the tables where people did not tip the night before. Situations like this lead to the autimatic gratuities.

    I am confused - how can one test be more positive than another - either you test positive or you don't! Also what does wearing a mask in a car do?

    I wish Celebrity did something like Princess dies with the medallion. AS I apprach a bar the bartender sees my picture on his tablet, knows my name and beverage package. Anywhe on the ship I can use the app to order drinks, food, etc, and they will find me and bring it to me.

    I assume you travelled from California - did you feel safe travelling with a 7K plus bottle of wine, or are you blowing smoke?

    I just had a similar situation. I had booked a "cruise only" and paid separatly for the beverage package. I switched to an all inclusive and got a refund for the beverage package.

    I recently returned from a Princess cruise - Spent a lot of time at one bar and got to know the bartenders quite well. I would shake their hand and "palm" them a $20 bill which they split. They told ne that the auto gratuities on the beverages are shared fleet wide. I wonder if this is also the policy on Celebrity?

    I have a neighbor who is a frequent cruiser. She actually goes to guest services and asks them to reduce the tips!!

    We just got off a Princess cruise - you could gamle anyplace on the ship with your app.

    I tip the room steward $20 the first day when I ask for ice to be kept full, and wine glasses to be provided. Later in the week - another $20
