Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Joc123, You are absolutely spot on. It is becoming hard. I think this would be our 4th cancellation. I only hope they give us plenty of notice if they cancel, and if they proceed that the ship is well stocked.
  2. Agree, they will always reposition, and historically they have sold these suites to passengers. However, what I have seen is Moon & Nova for late 2025 itineraries are starting the ‘new’ season without advertising the suites to reposition the ships to the new region. This is just what I have seen when looking up cruise options. It doesn’t impact those already booked on cruise’s, as SS has made a commitment to sail with passengers on those itineraries.
  3. I have spent a bit of time looking at all the ships itineraries on the basis they will probably cancel the Singapore to Mumbai cruise and hopefully there was an acceptable alternative for any refunds….which I couldn’t find.
  4. I don’t think Muse is impacted, it is largely Moon & Nova. Large gaps in the itineraries appear from Sept 2025. Finish in Vancouver, next cruise starts in Cairns. There are a number of examples like this for both Nova & Moon.
  5. SS have made the decision to not do any repositioning cruises. Such as shame as it limits their itinerary.
  6. Have a wonderful trip Terry. We are booked on the return leg, Singapore to Mumbai. Hopefully it’s not cancelled.
  7. I think they will struggle to sell the Mumbai to Singapore cruise given the late departure out of Mumbai. I think the Cochin option has been added to attract customers to this journey and try and build capacity.
  8. If the service levels and food is not up to SS standards and Barbara Muckermann is on board, use the opportunity to raise these issues with her. I am sure she would value the honest feedback.
  9. Just completed 18 days Singapore to Dubai on Encore and watercolour classes were available twice daily on all sea days.
  10. Unfortunately our cruise Hong Kong to Singapore is one of the casualties and has been cancelled. It is not SS’s fault that some countries are holding onto tough Covid restrictions. Unfortunately this is what it is. This cancellation has given us the opportunity to review all the new itineraries that have just been released and take up the 15%.
