  1. You will love, love, love Amber Cove. Stunningly beautiful! My favorite port hands down :)

The time that the ship docks and the time you are able to get off the ship are not the same. Looks like your on one of the first excursions of the day, so you will probably get off the ship with your group at around 8. Excursions get off the ship first. You won't be able to do anything before that.
  3. https://www.flgov.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/EO-21-81.pdf For those that want to read the new law in Florida. I think it is full of loopholes. 1) Wereas, Requiring so called Covid vaccine passports for taking part in everyday life.... ( I work hard for my cruises, they are NOT a part of everyday life) 2)Wereas, Covid 19 vaccination records are private health information and should not be shared... (Should, implies you shouldn't, but can. It is not an edict, like thou SHALT not lie). This new law was very poorly, hastily written, and sh
  4. @BoozinCroozin, I think your on to something 🙂 Sounds about right to me!
  5. The new law in Texas does not apply to a business that is under the jurisdiction of another federal agency. At least that's how I understand it. Cruise lines are exempt, they are under the jurisdiction of the CDC. Carnival will be requiring proof of vaccination in Texas. This is the way Governor Desantis should have wrote the law in Florida, but he left out that little tidbit.
  6. With reduced capacities to start, don't blink** @BlerkOne, reduced capacity is NOT going to happen. So much fuel for so little people? Never. The cruise lines have been waiting till the CDC has little to no say in what they do, and cruising will not resume until then. "Normal" cruising is the demand, and so be it.

  8. I took the vaccine because I believe it works. That being said, I'm not worried about catching it from those that are unvaccinated. It is the unvaccinated that need to worry about spreading it to the unvaccinated (If I'm wrong, I'm sure all of you will tell me why). If they are not going to require proof of vaccines for flights, trains (long trips), buses (long trips), or indoor sporting events, I don't see why we have to show proof on a cruise ship.
  9. @opshannon is correct. Pepsi has 41 grams of sugar per can, Coke has 33 grams of sugar per can. Much more sugar in Pepsi.
  10. Tropicale 1995. Friends trip out of Tampa.
  11. I get where your going with this. I have not forgot about a booked cruise, but I have had so many cancels/rebooks, that I HAVE forgot which ship I'm booked on!! I could have sworn I was due to sail on Magic in September and I'm actually booked on Sunrise. Fingers crossed she sails.

  13. Regarding "temperature checks", just want to let everyone know that you are actually "therma scanned". You don't even know it's happening. You walk past a computer terminal and snap! Your temperature has been taken. These "therma scan" areas have been set up all over hospitals, airports, some hotels, and most casinos. I would think they would have them on cruises? They were not a problem on my last land vacation.

  15. You state this as if it is a fact. From where are you getting this information?
