  1. Have tended at Port of Airie twice in the last 2 years with RCI and Celebrity, a far better option than Abel Point in my opinion.
  2. Easy on the eye that harem, havn't been to Bateman's for years, just got the urge to go. Sharing is a good thing I think, what about it Uncle Les?
  3. Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2019 to all at CC, and may all your cruises be long and refreshing. Uncle Les I want to Party with you !
  4. Rotorau is about 40miles from where your ship docks, about an hour by car; public transport would be slower. Taxi or Uber is an option but rather expensive. I would try for small group tour to ensure you get back before the ship leaves.
  5. Watch out when your swimming the Titanic may have got of the roof of the old Pier
  6. High tide in Nelson Place, hope it didn't get as far as the Steam Packet.
  7. LOL, Sure it's not the Minister blowing more smoke about a new OPT?

  11. I'm on that cruise Mr Gut that's a lot of Americans in one group, what you could call a conglomerate or maybe corporation! any thoughts?
  12. Well you've convinced me Uncle Les I'm on her on the 29th Oct. will lock myself in the bathroom for 10 nights Darn it anybody want an unused Booze Package?
  13. Excellent full day tour from Ovation earlier this year. Recommend you look at NZ websites and book early as they are popular. The Sulphur fumes are something to behold.
  14. Certainly is.and while Sydney play around with places like Botany Bay for goodness sake more ships will be placed elsewhere.Remember that decision to be made by "the end of the year" never happened. Luggage Point will come online in 2020 and they are talking about taking a lot of traffic from Sydney. Cruise Line companies will not sit around waiting for governments who can't make decisions.Sydney Harbour is in the top 5 waterways in the world and should be the major port for Cruise Lines ,however it could easily become a backwater if the powers that be don't wake up.Anyhow good for us in Melbourne I reckon the Explorer is a blind for an Oasis.
  15. Is that a description of Droppies or a certain local inhabitant of Batehaven?
  16. How come the Mogo Zoo does not have South Coast Droppies in captivity?
  17. Agree with Chilburn coming so far to land on Set Sail day is rather risky, apart from that you will be weary and jet lagged.
  18. What's the difference between South Coast and normal Droppies??

  21. Spot on Uncle Les, just a bit lighter in the pocket for the experience.I see you went to Duxford, awesome place the B52 on show there is worth the ticket price.Hope you didn't go near the A13 in Essex, it's patrolled by a Mafia affiliated plumber I believe.
