  1. For my upcoming cruise in 10 days, I am wearing a black and silver dress and heels and the hubby is wearing black dress slacks, white dress shirt, grey vest, and purple tie.
  2. Yes, your onboard credit can be used for gratuities. I have done that in the past myself.
  3. I will be in St. Thomas on the Carnival Breeze in a few weeks and we don't dock until 11:30am but, a vlogger told me that the early cruisers will be leaving around the time I get there and it may not be too packed. How long does the taxi ride take? Thanks for all the info in this post!
  4. I was talking about Honeymoon, St John but, I will definitely check out Megan's. What about Corki? Is it a good place? Thanks for the info, I appreciate it much!
  5. My cruise is docking in Havensight in 3 weeks. Is Morning Star beach open since the hurricane now? All the reports I found are 4-6 months ago. We are also docking late (11:30) and we would like loungers, food, drinks, and nice water and beach. I was originally going to go to Honeymoon beach but, with the ferry only running on the hour, and it taking 30 minutes to get to said ferry, and having to be off the beach by 5pm, that seems like too much rush and not enough beach time. Megan's sounds good but, Morning Star sounds better. What are your thoughts?
  6. Havensight, I have researched already since I will be sailing the Breeze in 23 days!
  7. Thanks for keeping us posted and informed. Everyone looks for the best deal but, the best place for their vehicles.
  8. I have used 528 Port Park once in the past with no complaints but, I found a company called Port Canaveral Valet where its $99 no matter how long your cruise and they wash your car. Have you ever heard of them? I have been trying to find reviews on them.
  9. You are sooooo right about the traffic around the airport during the day! I am from Orlando and unless you work over there, you stay clear lol. I suggest Kennedy Space Center as well and maybe a few hours at Jetty Park (right at the port, on the corner across from the launch pads on the water). If you want to be in Orlando, International Drive has some cool places to visit, like Wonder Works (the upside down house), Ripley's, a huge water park, Put put golf, etc. I would suggest you stay away from the Disney area as things are very pricey and crazy busy! If you want to see a park though, I recommend Sea World!
  10. Final payment has been made as of yesterday and we are counting down, 79 days!!!!
