  1. I started on WW but have will not be to strict on my cruise. I will just pick back up when I get home. Now this does not mean I will go crazy. I don't feel well when I over do it. However, on my last cruise, there were tons of healthy options for every meal regardless of where we ate.
  2. That is why I am asking. They are pretty weird. I know that the Cheers won't kick in until the next day.
  3. If I order a decorations package from the gift shop that contains alcohol, will we get it on embarkation day or since we leave out of Galveston, will they hold it till day two? Both myself and B-I-L are celebrating our anniversaries and I wanted to do something cute.
  4. Loved the Valor! We took her on our first cruise, 5 days, 2 years ago with 3/4 kids for my 2nd DS's senior vacation. Our kids were 9, 12 and 17 at the time. I signed them all up for their respective clubs. We did inform them they had to be at the MDR dressed accordingly for dinner. It worked out really well. They had a lot of fun. This time it will be just the hubby, me and his brother and wife. No kids! We are sailing a 7 day on the Freedom out of Galveston again. Can't wait!
  5. We are going to be going to Atlantis in Nassau and saw that we arrive at 7am and the excursion is 7:30am. I know there will be many doing the same. Do we have to be ready at 7:30 or is this a at your own pace type deal? Like can I let those in a rush go while I take my time and come down say 8:30?
  6. xostacylee is correct. This does have the gratuity included. You can also edit the amount per day you paid, cruise length and how many sea days and to do the math. Works like a charm!
  7. It does have the mini-gulf. https://www.carnival.com/cruise-ships/carnival-legend.aspx
  8. I just enter what I pay and adjust the days. Prices just went up and I do not believe the spreadsheet has been updated.
  9. When you purchase the Cheers package they add the 18% in your cart. Remember it will include All spirits (including cocktails), as well as beer and wine by the glass with a $20.00 or lower menu price (15 daily) Sodas, Zero-Proof frozen cocktails, energy drinks, specialty coffee, hot tea, 500ml bottled water and other non-alcoholic bottled beverages Large format water bottles in the Dining Room and Specialty Restaurants 25% discount off the menu price for any spirit or wine by the glass above $20.00 25% discount off the menu price for wine and champagne by the bottle 25% discount off beverage seminars and classes I do not get close to the 15 alcoholic drinks daily. I usually get about 6-8. But I do also get the water bottles and specialty coffees. In the end it is still a deal for me.
  10. I learned this lesson last cruise. I purchased water shoes for our next one lol.
  11. Never mind. She got that info from the cruisemapper website and not from Carnival. Her info is incorrect.
  12. Yes, and this is the information I got when I booked. I am just wanting to know for those that have sailed, what their experience was. And curious as to where she got that information from.
  13. First place I checked. The person said she got it on the Carnival site but did not remember where.
  14. But the Freedom does not have Cloud 9. Both Splendor and Vista do. I am curious about the non Cloud 9 ships.
