  1. We have flights booked to Miami from the UK, if they go it is likely that we will do a land vacation in Florida, or maybe a trip to Hawaii. That is if the virus allows travel. We will be able to cancel or move our flights due to BA’s Covid booking conditions. I just hope we can sail but as said in another thread if we need to wear a mask and keep apart I do not think cruising will be something that will appeal. The world has gone mad
  2. We have a cruise booked from Tampa late February 2021 final payment is due in December. If there are no sailings by then or it has not been cancelled I will not be making the payment but as it was an on board booking I will just move it on and keep all the perks.
  3. The UK has hinted that international vacations may not be possible during 2020. We are booked on a February sailing, hope it sails but concerned about booking airfare I think it’s a wait and see but hopefully we travel and sail.
  4. Hi have sailed on the Constellation many times and loved the 14 night southern Caribbean cruises, continued sailing the itineraries on the Eclipse. Quick question, we have a trip booked in Feb 2021, we are going if we can. But are the specialty restaurants still Tuscan and Murano also do they have Silk Harvest thanks and stay safe 😎👍🏻
  5. Hi you and Dave seem great people, be safe and enjoy cruising we are on the Constellation in Feb 2021 and Feb 22 great itineries and great prices 👍🏻🍸🍸 once again thanks for a fantastic review I felt I was really there
  6. Really enjoying your review, you made a great choice when you chose Celebrity. I see that you have booked another cruise but we’re told that the offers on board were not available in the UK. We always book onboard so I cannot understand why you were told this. You can choose to keep it with Celebrity and then transfer it to a TA of your choice when you get home within 60 days. This allows you to shop around and see what offers are available. Alternatively they will send the booking to the TA who booked your cruise. We have done this many times you can also switch the booking to another sailing and keep all the perks. I also have an agent who I use in the USA who I use if the price difference and exchange rates are In my favour. Hope you do a review of your next sailing. Stay safe
  7. Have a cruise booked for Feb 21 & 22 great deals booked on board all 4 perks about $700 OBC and with low deposits. Having missed our trip this year we really hope that we can travel and this pandemic is over Be Safe
  8. Hello we too are in the UK, the post above is correct, ATOL protection is only available when a company goes bust. However, we had a cruise booked sailing next Tuesday which needed to be paid in full in December, way before this happened. But, we always use a credit card to pay for any travel, this means that if anything is cancelled and the company will not refund our money then under UK credit card terms we can chargeback the cost. This will be credited to the card and the vendor will be charged directly by their service provider. To date we have been told that our cruise, flights to Lax with BA and then to Tahiti with Air France will be refunded back to the card. My advice whenever possibly always pay by credit card.
  9. I do not think there will be any sailings in May or June 😢😭
  10. On the same cruise nothing 😱
  11. It seems that RCCL have cancelled the Allure refurb, I hope that we are able to sail in Feb and will go if we can travel, even if the ship is not transformed. This will be our first time in a suite and we were able to get a fantastic price on the Celebrity Suite. The price was less than a sky suite is now. If the ship is not revolutionised I wonder what will happen to the Sunset Suites, will they revert to family cabins. The other variable is will Celebrity still be sailing at all.
  12. The problem is Spain is on lockdown will the ship be allowed to dock
  13. Hello fellow cruisers What is happening now is causing worldwide panic, uncertainty and economic crisis. so here is a question, we have a cruise booked out of Tampa in Feb 2021. The Constellation is due to be refurbished and revolutionised in September 2020 do you think that Celebrity will continue with their plans or will there be delays to the upgrades.
  14. I agree just sail away the same for Dominica
