good deal I was looking for a good recent harmony review
-
So to get a smoothie its only at the spa ? Any ideal on how many flavors to pick from ?

Sales are unpredictable. However, if you purchase and later see a lower price, you can cancel and re-purchase.
Thanks I'll go ahead I don't see them lowering the price anymore, but its good to know that's a option if it comes up
Yes it is a legit sale for another couple of days. I was planning on buying the zip line for Falmouth and it is indeed 20% off compared to last week. Thanks I thought so just wanted to double check. I've been looking at the family thrill seekers on Falmouth that has some zipline it. I just mad a thread in the ports section about it so maybe I can get some good reviews on it. before the sale ends

Has anyone done the official excursion Family Thrill Seekers Pass & Adventure Falls that RCL offers ? It seems like a pretty good deal with tubing or kayaking on Martha Brae River, zipline along with other stuff like waterslides, pools, waterfalls etc. This appears to be the better deal compared to the adrenaline Ziplin, River tubing and lunch as that one is 28$ more and offers similar things.
-
So I noticed RCL is having a excursion sale for my upcoming cruise. I'm not sure if that's for everyone or just for my sailing. I notice they have a countdown that says it doesn't end for another 2 days and 11 hours. I prefer to use 3rd party as it's cheaper, but I was thinking about doing a official one in Jamaica.
Does anyone know if this a legit sale ? If I don't book this time do you think another one will come up before I leave on April 28th ? Going off memory from some prices I saw last week I think the 20% or so off is true.

I enjoyed your videos like always don't listen to the negative people
-
I am not sure if it varies from ship to ship, but I have been checking the harmony (60 days away) sale prices for about 2 weeks every day and haven't seen it on sale lately
-
it shows 20$ for my cruise in april
-
I really wish they had a package in between the two also to get all the fancy drinks without the price of alcohol in them

I am excited to have the 3rd ship in this class leave out of the west coast as it will mix up the ports. I saw the video's on the new terminal on the cruise radio IG and they are 1st class. I loved the Vista and I will book the Horizon at some point in the next year. The main thing I didn't like about the Horizon is that it was the same exact ports as the Vista. So It will be nice to mix it up with different ports and leave out of the west coast.

Here is some things I typed up from when I went on the Vista in June. So it may be out of date as far as Horizon goes, but should point you in the right direction.

I saw on a app that Harmony had solo cabins on deck 4 (103 sq ft, deck 4). I assume this was either a mistake or reserved for special people ?

Same here. Sailed the last med and the transatlantic with Cookie, MarkQ and Nono. Now we see that all 3 have been promoted to CD. Congrats to the new kids. Carnival how lucky you are to have Jaime, Matt and so many talented kids.
Hearing the news that Nono did get to be a CD is awesome I will now have to try and book a ship with her in the future. Matt told me he was really vouching for her to become one. What ship is she on?

Story on Brunch / understaffed
Here is quick story that happened on the 2nd to last day on sea day brunch that my brother saw. It was around 10am and the line to get in was backed up a long way close to the steps. Once he got sit down it was so busy they had to pull people from the lido deck to clean / set tables. This was obvious as the people was still wearing the lido deck clothes. Also the upper management people in the dining room was also helping out doing this. He said the wait staff was working so hard he saw 2 people give tips to the people. Later on that night we asked and 2,000 people had the sea day brunch that day.
I can't think of anything else to specifically cover and its been a few weeks since ive got back. So I'll write a conclusion and be done with it but feel free to ask any questions now and in the future and ill try my best to answer them

Thanks for posting your review. I am really enjoying it. I was on the same cruise with you on July 1 and agree 1000% about Matt, he really was fantastic. Of course my wife has a huge crush on him and managed to get multiple photos with him over the course of the 8 days.
There were 2 things I personally did not like.
1 La Romana tour we took, Altos de Charon and riverboat cruise.
Our bus left the port ahead of schedule but on the way to Altos, the tour guide informed us we would only have 30 minutes at that stop, so he rushed us thru there. Once we left there he advised us we would need to wait for the other bus to catch up,to us and asked if we wanted to stop at a cigar factory or go directly to the boat. Most people said cigar factory. We ended up staying there for 30 minutes, then waited another 30 minutes at the boat for the other bus also. So we easily could have spent more time at Altos. I felt this was a scam by the tour operator and I refused to tip them at the end.
2. Maybe it was just to me, but I felt the staff working Guys Burgers was very rude. Had no problems anywhere else.
Otherwise it was a great cruise. Sorry, did not mean to hijack the thread!
You are not highjacking fell free to post as much as you Would like. Sorry to hear about your bad experience at la romana and I don't blame you for not tipping. When you pay for a excursion and don't get your $ worth it's a really bad feeling
It wasn't just you they definitely make you feel like cows at guys with the way they run you through. I asked for something special once and was handed the wrong thing when it was clear what I asked for. The good news is the line moves fast it's just a little deceiving that they have all the options yet hand you the same exact thing. I love the place and 10 times better then a normal cruise burger just didn't like that part either.

Excursion Sale ?
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
I ended up booking official ones this time with Cozumel and Jamaica as I wont be in a bigger group and I got the sale price. I usually just do the research per port and then cross check on here and trip advisor. If your doing western like me that includes Jamaica then look at Peat Taylor Tours. I saw another Taylor on the Jamaica section of the ports here that everyone had good things to say about. I have used him in the past and it was great and if $ is a issue it should cheaper. I don't ever do anything in the private island so I just use that as a free beach day.
