  1. Yes, I spoke to him through FB Messenger from the ship and he responded instantly! https://www.facebook.com/segwayaruba/ We paid $280 for 4 hours but he said he's not a clock watcher so if you're late, no biggie lol.
  2. Hop a cab to arashi beach and find the seabob rental shop. Ask for david. Rent his 2019 polaris 4 seater utv and go explore. He will give you a map. Best day we've ever had in aruba. We were there last week.
  3. Ok for the record, our cabin 2410 is extremely noisy at night! You were right, we are directly under the galley! It went on most of the night and then ramped up at 4 am! But like someone mentioned, its mostly background noise with an occassional loud bang followed by someone yelling โ€œhey man you okโ€. I literally thought they were out on our balcony lol. The good news is our door is directly across from the lounge which makes it very convienent for morning coffee and food! Sitt9ng on our balcony sipping coffee and eating a giant plate of bacon = heaven ๐Ÿ˜‚. So far, a great cruise! Won trivia last night and had a great first day! Off to the gym now to work off all the bacon.

    Sand Dunes

Are there any private tours in Aruba that would take us to the sand dunes in sand buggies? All the excursions through Carnival requires children to be 12+. Our son is 11 1/2 so they will not allow us to book. Right now, we are excursion-less in Aruba for next week's visit! Not sure what to do! We live in Florida, so beaches are not exciting for us. We are more the adventure types. Any ideas?
  5. Personally, we have always had the "free coffee". We bring out own non-dairy creamer and Splenda. Considering we drink Black Rifle Coffee, it's quite a step down, but we don't mind it for a week. We are not big Starbucks fans and the coffee shop coffee reminds us to much of them. We are in cabin 2410 which is directly across from the family lounge door! Excited! Will be nice for our kids, and our coffee trips! And it seems to be far enough from aft that we aren't under the galley.

  7. Exactly what I needed to know, thank you! We are bringing out own hot chocolate protein powder, so not to worried about the tea. We are gym nuts and drink a lot of protein lol.
  8. OMG this is amazing! Will this pertain to the 12/15/18 sailing as well?
  9. Hello everyone! Couple questions - we will be on the 12/15 cruise and we have a family harbor suite. Does the harbor lounge have hot water for making hot chocolate/tea? We will be boarding at 11:30. We plan on changing into our swimsuits and heading to Lido to grab a bite and lounge. Is that the best plan while the ship is loading? Does the "secret deck" up front get crowded for the sail away? Trying to decide how early we need to "sneak" up there lol.
  10. Thank you for the suggestion - we just booked a tour with them!! Sounds like so much fun - and they have been super nice!
  11. Hello everyone - we will be cruising on Carnival to Cauracao in December. We've never been so not sure what to do. We are a family of four - two kids 14/11. We live in Florida, so snorkeling and beach is nothing special to us. Trying to find something different and exciting. We tend to stay clear of the tourist traps and will often venture off on our own. With that said, can anyone recommend something unique and different from the usual excursions offered by the cruiseline? Also, the kids are content with spending the day on a beach IF they have the big inflatables! We go to Mexico often and will stay at Mr. Sancho's and they always have a blast. Anything similar in Curacao? Thanks!
