  1. I’m with Phil on this. My handle “Beyond words” sums it up in a way, but I still have 2 cruise booked with Azamara, one of which I have just done a lift and shift to April 2022. I would love to think new ships could be coming in the short to mid term but either way my hope is we will all still be enjoying Azamara cruises for many years to come. Think positive.
  2. I haven’t seen anything further from Bonnie since the post back on May 16. Just a deafening silence.
  3. We have just received some enhanced future credits from easyJet for a cancelled flight. What we have received seems to suggest that there may well be an issue with the Azamara single voucher 125%FCC for UK cruisers. EasyJet have split the credit into 2 vouchers, one for the cost of the flight and a separate one as a rebooking incentive. As it stands I think very few UK cruisers would knowingly risk losing ABTA/ATOL protection by taking a FCC so hopefully Azamara/RCCL can get this issue resolved pronto.
  4. I am reading this with interest. We have also found something unexpected. We have an fcc from a cancelled cruise and we’re planning to use it against a cruise in late August. However it turns out that using the fcc, because Azamara apply that to reducing the headline cost of the cruise rather than applying it to pay the balance, the value of the percentage discount I get from my agent (5% in this case) goes down because they give me back a percentage of the headline cost. Effectively this has devalued the fcc from 125% to 120%. I don’t know if that would also affect travel agents commission go
