  1. Well I suppose that they are technically not a "drink". Remember the ice pops you enjoyed as a kid? Just don't let the kids get their hands on these! ๐Ÿ˜„ Hmmm... homemade limoncello! We were in Venice last summer. Most restaurants offer their own homemade limoncello after the meal. Lovely... Just don't over eat... too much food and limoncello makes for a fitful nights sleep. Been there... done that.
  2. I suspect your itinerary might figure into the calculations. I think I'd probably have a few more drinks on a sea day. Maybe a mimosa with breakfast, a poolside drink, a cocktail before and or after dinner. But If I'm up early and out the door excursioning I'm not drinking on the ship. I don't think having the drinks I described while on holiday is over doing it. It's a holiday... and I'm sure a nap after lunch would be a welcome indulgance! ๐Ÿ™‚
  3. They are fun for a girlโ€™s beach week... but youโ€™re on your way to. Venice where you will find delightful limoncello!
  4. Costco. They come in a bunch of 4 flavors. Apparently they sell out quickly when they appear in season.
  5. We used Wild Wolf Tours in Ketchikan and really enjoyed it. Smaller group and our guide got us out ahead of the busses so we never felt crowded.
  6. I joined hubby on a business trip to Vancouver this summer. While he worked I did an AirBnB Experience in Chinatown! Got a tour of Chinatown and made dumplings with my host. I had a great time and would recommend it! https://abnb.me/TAF7a1H5a0
  7. So Iโ€™m home on a Saturday night day dreaming about my first Viking Cruise in June... no bartender but Iโ€™ll make due with this version of a lemon drop martini. ๐Ÿ‹ ๐Ÿ˜‚
  8. Looking forward to seeing the Faroe Islands when I do the Iceland's Majestic Landscapes Itinerary in June! Beautiful!
  9. HAHAHA! That is awesome! Great way to trick fitness apps into letting you enjoy more of the gelato! That works right?
  10. Flip that frown upside down... or at least try... think of all the wonderful things you will see in Iceland. Maybe even the Northern Lights? They made an apppearence in Canada last month! Its the journey...
  11. No golf for me... but I wonder if your find a sand trap with the famous black sand in it?!
  12. Hereโ€™s a blog post with a list of unusual things to do in Iceland! Not sure Iโ€™ll be putting all of them on my bucket list but to each their own! https://thefortysomethingtraveller.com/fun-facts-about-iceland/
  13. Great... now I want a limoncello! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿธ๐Ÿ‹
