If the rule for beer DID apply to our Vouchers too, then it made no sense because I have many times gotten 2 glasses of wine to go with leftover vouchers but you’re saying that if I got 2 beers with my vouchers they would open them?

You’re referring to the word “vouchers” and I thought after all the chatter here about them opening all bottles and cans VS getting them not opened, it was mentioned somewhere that the policy to have everything opened didn’t apply to our daily Vouchers, and was meant for those with the package? We’ve never had any issues getting a can of soda or bottle of water unopened with our leftover vouchers.

As others suggested I would visit the LA early in the cruise and let them know just in case. And also if in the carryon, put it in an easy place that you can take it out and show them because more than once they asked to see what it was.

If we ever get to P……which we can now see if I can get him to agree to more cruises….we will most likely only cruise Celebrity too. We would do that now, but seeing the light at the end of the tunnel is keeping us in the light 💡

I really don’t see the draw for the HH in the lounge. Years ago the apps were much better, and higher quality than they are now, and that was the only place for the HH drinks. Now we feel the drinks are better at the bars instead of the lounge. We do sometimes go in to see what they have and pick a bit if sometimes good, but unless we are there with friends to chat, we prefer bars. And we certainly did on Icon, they have a couple of bars we’ve not seen before that had some really good drinks.

I agree 100%. I guess that may be because their target audience they were trying to attract was already P status.

It may be that it becomes an issue when it’s a “loyalty” perk that is given and then taken away. But I agree, we also prefer The Schooner 😉

We also had high stress jobs and packed it away for now. And we’re now reaping those benefits of that, being able to cruise often and around the world.

We have Adventure B2B next May and Explorer B2B in April of 27 for the reason you mentioned, one cruise is Eastern and the other is Western.

I feel so bad for the entire crew with these short cruises. We all know how much work it is for them on turnaround day and they now have them twice a week. And unfortunately they can’t just quit.

Thats how it’s been for us, when DH uses his 2 free days the VOOM guy moves mine to him, but last time on Icon that’s not what they did. He used my login to get the two days. Odd

I always purchase a wifi pkg, so I don’t know if we could do that since I already have an account set up in my name. What you said would definitely work if I didn’t already have it.

First you need to use your 2 days - then go to VOOM person and have them transfer your wife’s to you. We do it all the time.

I watch my account because on a cruise recently I saw 2 drinks come in for a bar we never go near. I went to the bar and said they charged us by accident and the bartender said, no you were just here…. I never drink beer and that’s what was ordered. So I went to guest services and got them taken off. We've had bartenders that keep our card number and don’t always swipe our card, which I don’t like, so I’m thinking they accidentally put the wrong # in when someone ordered the 2 beers.

That was true for us. Utopia was insanely loud throughout the main areas of the ship. I won’t go on it again, I would choose Mariner.

I agree with both your posts re the Radiance class, which is our favorite class of ship….. but after going on Icon which I didn’t want to like, I loved it because for us it seemed to be a combination Oasis/Radiance class. So much glass and views all over the ship.and the promanade was huge.
