  1. What deck were you on? We are traveling on the Liberty. We'll be on deck 6. I'm wondering how much vibration we will feel. Thanks.
  2. It's totally a personal preference. I tend to agree with your DH, but I see your point. I like your solution though. 😉
  3. Kind of off subject, but I just booked my second cruise. The first was a 7 day out of Miami during Christmas. It was Caribbean. I now have a 3 day booked out of Port Canaveral. It's in October. How do you think the party crowd will differ between the two. I honestly didn't think of this. I'm sure no matter what I will have a great cruise! I'm just curious so I can prepare those traveling with me. Thanks in advance if you have any answers. 🙂
  4. That's too bad. Some people just look for things to go wrong. Like all the posters on John Heald's page just disgusted by what someone else wears. I don't believe I ever paid that much attention to what others were doing or wearing. I just enjoyed my cruise to the fullest. Although there was this one girl that was wearing a thong bikini. lol My husband appreciated that. Honestly, I didn't care. I just laughed. 🙂 My cruise was not perfect by any means, but I had a blast. My only real complaint is that the pop was warm and watered down by the time I got my food to go with it or my food was cold by the time I got the pop. No worries though. I learned and will bring my own. Problem solved.
  5. All I'm curious to know about is did they enjoy the cruise? I hope they join you for the Canada cruise and have fun!
  6. Hello, Has anyone sailed on the Liberty in room 6454 or 6452. I see in a few pictures that the partitions can be opened between these two rooms. However, I am told by my PVP that they cannot. Does anyone have any experience with these two rooms that may have some insight? Also, any pics of these two rooms would be awesome. I've seen videos, but I'd love to see someone else's perspective. Also, room 6450 if you have pics of it that would be great. I appreciate any help I can get. This will be my second cruise.
  7. Like others have stated it's more of a personal preference. I love it. No I'm not out there a lot, but the view early in the morning pulling into a beautiful port. Watching the sunrise on a sea day. For me, it's worth it.

  9. I'm doing this exact cruise in October 2020. I'm worried the cruise will feel rushed since it's so short. Also, did you have a balcony? How was the view while in port? Thank in advance!
  10. I will do that next time. Luckily I got use out of the FTTF with the tender boats. 😉
  11. I have only been on one cruise. I got FTTF. The doors to the rooms where locked and a huge note telling me rooms wouldn't be ready until 1:30. Should I have pushed harder on the door to get to my room? I didn't try very hard since the sign was up. I felt like I was doing something wrong.
  12. On last (and first) cruise I didn't know what I was doing. I got FTTF and booked a flight at noon. We got something in our cabin saying we could leave at 7:00am. They never said what to do if we didn't want to leave at 7:00am. So we did and took the shuttle and waited at the airport. Everything went smooth and the wait didn't seem as long as I thought it would. We were about 45 minutes from the airport.
  13. Just wondering. What is the benefit of staying around and sitting in a chair? Is it to avoid the mad rush? I'm honestly curious. I've only done one cruise.
  14. But you must be out of your room by 9:30 or so if I'm not mistaken... This way they can start getting rooms ready. Next cruise boards at 11:30.
  15. I just took my first cruise at the end of last year. I will repeat what others have said. GUY'S BURGERS!!! I love them. I limit myself cause I can imagine how bad they are for me. It's a must try.
  16. What??? Shut the front door! Why didn't I know about this before my first cruise in December? Thanks for the tip. 🙂
  17. I'm with you. If this is the worst part of your cruise then money well spent. 😄
  18. Thanks! I would choose a balcony on one of the upper decks. I'm going to try a short cruise with an overnight in Nassau just to test the waters first I think. 😉
  19. Can you feel the vibration on the aft balconies. I really want to try one, but my husband can't stand the vibrations that we felt in the dinning room on our first cruise on the magic.
  20. Yeah he thought I was being unnecessarily rude on our first day on our first cruise. It's just some people don't look around and see there are literally thousands of others on this ship and a lot of us want to do the same things you do. First come first serve! The world does not revolve around you.
  21. Agreed. During the sail off party everyone was trying to get a spot by the railing. (my first cruise) Some young 20's something girl was trying to push two loungers as close to the railing as possible to save room for her and her friend! So rude. If you want a spot be there. And you are trying to save loungers??? I told her everyone wants a spot and you are trying to save loungers? My husband was embarrassed.
  22. Thanks! Great info. I just don't know that we will ever use them. I love looking out my balcony at the ocean. 😄
  23. I did this on our first cruise last December. Like you said it took a while, but little to no wrinkles. I was able to pack more in a smaller suitcase. LOVE this tip (not hack). 😉
