1. I think you are going to arrive just in time to see the sunset. First go for a stroll to el Paseo la Princesa and walk beside the walls up to la Puerta de San Juan.(Big door) It's beautiful at this time of the day. Enter the city through the door and just walk the streets at night, there will be plenty of people walking around and many of the stores are going to be open. After that you can go eat local food at great restaurants near the ships like El Mojito or the very popular Raices. You are going to love it.
2. Host Mach: I loved your review. I can imagine the moment when Heidi's video was shown because when I saw it at home it made me think about the way they both must be feeling being apart and it's theirs first baby. Your description made me cry and I was glad I was not there because I would have cried also and I don't like to cry in public HA! I'm also very happy to hear that all is perfect. Your description of the ship and the food made me smile. Please continue. Say Hi to my family of Big Ed's Evil krewe from me and a big huggo for John. sigh...... Nanni

celebrity vs carnival in the med

Well it really all depends on what you are looking for. I have been on Costa also and I like it very much many similarities between both cruise lines.Food is definetely better in carnival. I wrote about both cruise line in my blog if you like to read it. Also if you search in my blog you are going to find a day by day review of my Carnival cruise on the MED http://nanetteali.wordpress.com/?s=Why+not+Costa

celebrity vs carnival in the med

I disagree with the above. I have been on Carnival on the MED and I have been on Celebrity. My Carnival med cruise was perfect. Highlights? service, food and entertainment. Carnival has improved food a 100% Try it you are going to be surprised.

Freedom shows

Yes there is. Is called Ticket to ride and it is excellent. The other is called The Big easy ( I think) a tribute to New orleans with a fabulous ending. I don't remember the name of the other but it is also very good

13. I know why he or she is still talking about it. Love it. It is my second favorite after Carnival. It also has what I like to call a "heart". For me they have many things in common and that is not only the facts that some or their ships are sisters to the the Carnival ships and done ( more beautifullly with an I talian theme) by Joe Farcus but they are also a lot of fun. Great crew and value also I did a blog about this if you want to read it. http://nanetteali.wordpress.com/?s=Why+Costa%3F
14. My waitress gave it to me. I made it and it taste the same even though I made it with Hershey dark chocolate and not Lindt that is the one that Carnival uses Find the mold that they use (white small ones) Melting Chocolate cake 1lb (16oz) Dark chocolate 1lb butter 10 ea eggs whole 4oz Sugar granulated 5.5oz Flour H&R Melt the chocolate and the butter Mix the eggs and sugar and whisk for few minutes, add flour Add the egg mix to the melted chocolate and mix Bake directly in the oven at 200 C (392F) for 12 minutes Note: Make sure that the eggs are at room temperature and chocolate is warm enough while making the mixture ENJOY!!
