  1. I'm one of those folks who did send an email to Celebrity's Executive Office. My concern was not merely changes to menus and the vaping test (I'm against allowing vaping) , but rather no one was notified in advance of either test. For those of us that are affected by vaping vapors or cigarette smoke, those vapors travel and "isolating" those who do to a section of the casino is somewhat useless. So, in my email, I asked if Celebrity would refund those who have already booked if Celebrity allows vaping on their cruise. After all, that was not the policy when I booked my cruise. The answer: no. Celebrity hasn't come up with a policy and isn't offering refunds. Since my next cruise with them isn't until next February, I have plenty of time to cancel and will fight them for the return of my non-refundable deposit if it comes to that.
  2. We had an offer to bid for a CW suite on an upcoming cruise. We declined. Aside from the cost, we were concerned that, being right below the pool deck, there would be noise. What has been your experience?
  3. We will be sailing on Azamara for the first time this coming April. How does Azamara to check-in at the port? I know we need to pre-register on their website. Is embarkation first come-first served at the port, or is it time entry based on something in the registration process? Thx.
  4. Looking for information on the spa services (massages and facials) offered by Azamara. There's precious little info on the website. Is there a brochure that someone can share? Thanks!
  5. Same here when I contacted my TA earlier this week.
  6. On an upcoming Azamara cruise, we have Complimentary WIFI (Per Cabin). Does that mean just one device, or do each of us in the same cabin have Wifi? If only one device, is it better to book Wifi pre-cruise or just wait until we are on board?
  7. Another newbie here. Our first Azamara cruise will be on Journey April 29, 2023. I've heard there is such a thing as AzAmazing Evenings. How do I find out more information and if there will be one on our cruise? Also, our cruise is very port intensive (there are no "at sea" days). Which night should I expect the white night party? Thanks!
  8. We just booked the Steakhouse for our December cruise on the Beyond. $55 per person, and then they added the 18% gratuity. Someone in an earlier post said this was double dipping. Well, food is included in your cruise price, so even paying extra for the specialty restaurants (with our without the added gratuity) is double dipping!
  9. I wasn't aware that suite guests get free specialty restaurants on Celebrity. I think that might be true for suite guests on Azamara.
  10. I've posted in several roll calls for future cruises, but none show up in my managed content and I'm not receiving notifications when a new post appears. Is there something else I need to do?
  11. We are on the Summit now. Last night in Tuscan, the 18% was added to our tab.
  12. We are on the Summit now and had reservations at both restaurants. TPC has different menus in different nights. I'd heard complaints from some guests who went when the main selection was a pasta dish as the price is high for pasta! We are going on the Steak and Lobster night. As for Tuscan, the steaks are your best choice my hubby and I each had an appetizer ( he likes their minestrone), we shared the lobster ravioli, and then each had an entree. Remember that their is an 18% gratuity tacked on to your bill above the price you paid for dinner. For $106 for two, eat until you are stuffed!
