  1. Hi We have chosen anytime dining and wondered which restaurant we go to as it seems there are more than one. First time on a Princess cruise. Many thanks Kat
  2. Thanks everyone for taking the time to reply. Some interesting reading here and so excited to be going om her. It will be just what we need after over 4 weeks in Australia 😎
  3. Hi Only my second cruise but we are going on the Ruby Princess around New Zealand in February. Leaving from Australia as part of our "Retirement Holidays" . My question is any hints or tips on the Ruby from you insiders to make the cruise special? Counting down the days!!! Kat
  4. Second cruise and first with Princess. Wondered what sort of time embarkation start for the Caribe Deck (Balcony). We are travelling from Sydney going around New Zealand. Thanks Kat
  5. We will be doing a Ruby Princess cruise around NZ next February. Recent cruisers, did your cruise line, or port, provide shuttles into town? Were they free or was there a fee? Visiting the following... Dunedin (Port Chalmers) Akaroa Wellington Napier Tauranga Auckland Bay of Islands Appreciate any advice and thanks in advance. Kat
  6. How do we find out which ports have shuttle buses into town? Is this possible? Thanks Kat
  7. We will be doing a Ruby Princess cruise around NZ next February. Looking at excursions and wondered if anyone had used an independent external company to book tours. We will be visiting the following and wondered if any are doable without an excursion or which tours would be recommended as a must do. Dunedin (Port Chalmers) Akaroa Wellington Napier Tauranga Auckland Bay of Islands Appreciate any advice and thanks in advance. Kat
  8. Hi Having only cruised once before with P & O I am looking for advice on our February 202 cruise around New Zealand. Now I understand that you can only take on 1 bottle of wine per person on board without corkage fees and additional will be charged corkage. Also that there is a premium drinks package you can buy. Can you purchase a bottle of gin on board to consume in your cabin and if so does anyone have the most recent prices (or where I can find them). Many thanks Kat
