  1. We are booked on our first SeaDream sailing in May and to say I am excited is an understatement! I have gone back so far on these board reading everyone's trip reports which I have loved! I cant wait to have my first class of champagne on board, make myself at home at the TOTY bar and try all the incredible food!
  2. @almostretired absolutely not, I do not make any money from my blog. I write it as a hobby and shared the blog posts I wrote about my holiday on Symphony on here as I thought people would like to read them.
  3. @PaulMCO thank you for reading 😀 Thank you @Keith1010, I really appreciate you saying that. Your first time Crystal thread really helped us! We are actually looking at Seadream at the moment, they have a Mediterranean itinerary that we like the look of. @Raptordash that is exciting, we would love to sail on Serenity now we have done Symphony. @almostretired I write a travel blog for fun and as a way to document my travels. I like to write about the food as well as take photographs.
  4. Forgot to say, sorry some of the pictures are a bit dark. I don't use the flash on my camera so I don't disturb other diners but does result in dark photos!
  5. Hi everyone I have just published my 3rd blog post, this one is all about the food we had on-board Symphony! It was one of my favourite to write and there are quite a few pictures. Hope you enjoy reading! https://thetravelsofmrsb.com/2020/02/10/dining-on-board-crystal-symphony/ P.S We are just talking about our next cruise so will hopefully have one booked soon!
  6. @8dimsum I hadn't thought about that but it would make quite an interesting read. Maybe I need to get a few more cruises booked so I have more to compare!
  7. Thank you for all your kind comments, I only write my blog as a hobby so it means a lot to hear such nice feedback. I have published my second post today . . . http://thetravelsofmrsb.com/2020/02/06/sailing-around-the-caribbean-on-crystal-symphony/
  8. Hi All I have finally finished my first blog post about our amazing cruise on board Symphony. The hardest thing was getting off the ship but I am surviving by reading all your trip reports, especially fun keeping up to date with the live reports! Here is my blog post, I will be publishing another one this week and next week now I have finally got round to writing them. Hope you enjoy reading! http://thetravelsofmrsb.com/2020/02/04/a-week-of-luxury-on-crystal-symphony/
  9. 5 more sleeps until we are on board Crystal Symphony, to say I am excited is an understatement! I cant wait to have a champagne lush, order beef carpaccio in Prego and try the blackened cod in Umi Uma to name just a few things I am looking forward to! This will be our sixth cruise, our first with Crystal and our second cruise sailing with a luxury line. I have found so many wonderful tips on these boards and have loved reading all the trip reports, especially the live updates. Thank you all so much for all the information on here! I have always found cruise critic so helpful before cruising, especially when sailing with a new cruise line. I also write a travel blog (just for fun) and will definitely be writing a few blog posts when I am back off holiday. I will be posting live on my Instagram stories whilst I am sailing, if anyone was interested in following along my Instagram handle is @thetravelsofmrsb I look forward to being Crystalised!
  10. Hi everyone, thank you for your kind comments! We had absolutely no problems with the language however our sailing had all English speaking passengers, there were some Americans, Australians and some other British on board. The English spoken by all the crew was excellent and all the excursions we did were all English speaking.
  11. Hi Everyone My husband and I went on our first river cruise earlier this year, we have only every done big ship cruising. When we were looking who to go with we couldn't find many reviews on CroisiEurope. I write a travel and food blog (as a hobby) so I have written some reviews on our experience. I hope these help anyone who is looking for more information and couldn't find much detail like I couldn't! All about the ship . . . http://thetravelsofmrsb.com/2019/05/16/croisieurope-the-ship/ Al about the food and drink onboard . . . http://thetravelsofmrsb.com/2019/05/22/croisieurope-food-drink/ And about our itinerary . . . http://thetravelsofmrsb.com/2019/05/30/croisieurope-epernay-to-paris/
