  1. Has the ZUIDERDAM updated the tiny TV’s in the cabins over the desk area?
  2. Can anyone tell me what the inside cabins on deck 5 on the ZUIDERDAM that run lengthwise on aft are like? There are several available on the cruise I’m looking at and was curious if I should book one.. thanks Linda
  3. How do I know if an inside cabin has a sofa or not on the ZUIDERDAM? I am looking at booking cat. MM deck 7. Any help would be appreciated. thanks Linda
  4. Thanks for the help. I guess I’ll be bringing umbrellas. One of you asked why I would even ask, well I always had one before until I was in an inside cabin, of course I have plenty of umbrellas at home but we are getting really old and trying to pair down on our suitcases and weight. So I just thought maybe they gave umbrellas on other ships. For those of you that were unkind, someday you will be this age God willing and then you will understand. Linda
  5. My suitcase is already pretty heavy I DON’T need weight of 2 umbrellas. Linda
  6. I was in a inside in May-June and asked steward and he told me inside cabins didn’t get umbrellas? Linda
  7. I am booking a cruise for myself while onboard in August and would like to book the same cruise for my family also to get the perks. Some have cruise HAL and the children have not. Will I be able to book them too or not? The children are actually adults just haven’t cruised HAL. thanks Linda
  8. Are umbrellas furnished in inside cabins? I know they are in other cabins, I will be on the Noordam. Thanks Linda

  11. I have pretty much decided on a 14 day Alaska cruise in the Noordam and would appreciate help deciding on which inside cabin. I know RUTH likes the Main deck J and K, there are lots of K’s and J there is 1113, 1119, 1123 cabins available plus on deck 6 aft there are lots which looks good because cabins above and below. Thanks a lot to all of you that respond!
  12. Thanks just wondering if there was a glaring difference in anything, I thought they were pretty comparable
  13. Getting ready to book Alaska cruise and wondering which ship is better Noordam or Nieuw Amsterdam? Thanks a bunch
  14. I haven’t cruised HAL in years and have 3 cruises booked and am wondering if the Wi-Fi has improved? Thanks in advance.
  15. Thank you so much we’ve stayed at Embassy Suites in Boston before. Thanks for all the tips. Linda
  16. Thank you so much, that makes a lot of sense. We have been to Boston many times and aren’t interested in seeing sites. We will be tired by the time we arrive at a hotel and just want to rest. I haven’t done a ships transfer in many years so that will be interesting also. Thanks again for a great idea to help with my budget. What hotel have you stayed at in Boston airport area? Linda
  17. I am looking for a hotel for our New England/Canada cruise that hopefully would have a shuttle. We are flying in the day prior for our cruise. Thank you all in advance. Linda
  18. Ok I am in a dilemma now should I choose aft cabins on lower promenade 3411-3423( we don’t mind the walk to aft) or cabins J1877 and J1905 as suggested all these are available for the back to back so I wouldn’t have to change cabins. I guess my concern is noise level in any of these cabins. I think I would like the lower promenade level being able to go outside so easy. Can you help me I need to call TA. Thanks so much, I couldn’t do this on my own.
  19. Thank you all so very much, I can now sleep well because of your help. God Bless you all!
