  1. Ok! So after a very rough cruise 7 years ago my husband has finally agreed to try another! We were on Independence before and I have now just booked a 5 day 4 night (his request - baby steps lol) on the Wonder. This will be the largest ship I've ever been on and I'm so excited about all of the offerings! It's only 4 nights so I want the best of the dining options! I know we both loved Chops. I'm in a Jr Suite for the first time so with luck might be able to snag Coastal Kitchen. Worth it? Also any opinions on Wonderland or 150 Central Park? They both looked interesting. Activities onboard - wow!!! I remember when the flowrider was revolutionary onboard lol! Opinions on The Abyss would be welcome! Also the zipline. I love ziplines so would love to know if its worth it. Also the waterslides look wild! I can't swim but love waterslides. Are these shallow at the ending? I've made the mistake of not checking before and embarrassed myself while flailing like a dope at the end lol! Any other totally unsolicited advice or tips are appreciated! Thank you!
  2. Thank you! My husband and I are all about the animals and want to see the pigs!
  3. Hi all! I'm a big planner and just booked Feb of 2026 on Wonder. They don't offer any shore excursions or bev packages or anything yet. Does anyone know when they will release them? Also I tried searching RCCL for shore excursions but they no longer seem to list whats available on each port. Specifically looking for Nassau and Pearl Island. Any insight?
  4. Ok I pulled the trigger and booked the Wonder! Very excited!
  5. Thanks so much for your insight!!
  6. Hi all! So I'm still toying with which cruise to book. I can get a JS (for the location mainly) on Utopia or Wonder for the same dates Feb 2-6 to Nassau and Cocoa Cay. But is there a huge difference with the ships? Utopia is more expensive for same booking. For note, the largest I've been on is Freedom. Thanks for any and all advice and opinions!
  7. Oh good to know. he is a chiller kind of guy!
  8. Thanks Dan!! I was just you tubing the over the water cabanas but this is very much more what I was looking for!
  9. Hi all! So the last time I was at CocoCay was 10 years ago! Planning a trip with my hubby now and this is a port on the cruise I'm looking at. I remember being the only ones for almost an hour walking along the island far away from the port. I'm guessing that's not happening now lol. I'm fine with that but I've looked at the new maps and can't really picture it. I LOVE to zip line. I usually make Labadee my stop so I can do the zipline. Is the CocoCay zip worth it? Also, we are childfree so is there an adults only spot on CocoCay? If not do they have nice quiet cabanas over the ocean like Labadee? I haven't booked yet so can't access excursions to check! Thanks for any help!
  10. Really good to know thank you! I'm a super planner so I'll check asap onboard! Looking at Feb 2 -6. Will you be aboard?
  11. I get it! I'm hoping for no rough weather but the nice thing is he is stuck there lol so if it gets rough I'll just get dagger stares but it's not like he can leave lol!!!
  12. Thanks Ken! I know I've always heard that JS aren't really worth the money. But I guess for 200 more and the really nice location it's worth it. Haven't been to coastal kitchen but maybe I'd try for it.
  13. Hi all! My husband and I were on Freedom a few years ago. It was his first cruise and my 8th. All was going great til we hit the roughest seas I've ever had and he said nope to any other cruises. Well he finally gave me the green light to try another! Freedom was the largest ship we have been on. I always do a balcony on the hump. I'm seeing a great 4 night (to inch him back into it lol) on Utopia. I was thinking of getting a Jr Suite with sea level benefits. I have no idea what that really entails. But it would be stateroom 10236. Looks great with a balcony on the hump. Can anyone tell me if this is a good choice given that Freedom is the biggest I've been on? Also is that a good stateroom? I've never had a Jr suite so not sure if the perks are worth the money. It's only $200 more than the regular balcony on the end of the hump. Please give all the opinions!
  14. Thank you! I always have chosen hump cabins as the balconies are usually a different shape/biger but also the ability to look forward and back is wonderful. I agree shade is nice on the balcony lol! I can go up to the decks for sun! I will check out some other decks thank you!
  15. Kind of both. I'm assuming the overhang they talked about was the whole deck but yes looking for 14190
  16. I'm reading about a review on Harmony and they are saying there is an overhang that's annoying? Wish I could find pics! I can't really envision what they mean.
  17. Hello! My bestie and I have booked a cruise for January and Allure will be the largest ship I've cruised. The biggest was Freedom. I've searched the cabin threads and online for any info or pics of stateroom 14190 but have found no reviews. I'm hoping by chance someone here will have something? Or I guess that stateroom on any sister ships? We are SO excited and are starting all of our planning now! TIA
  18. They finally released the ability to book cabanas and yes! It's like $1100! Insane! I'll definitely be getting a beach bed instead!
  19. Thank you! I had only wonderful experiences with The Key. I did a review a long time ago with it. Let me check to refresh my memory!
  20. Good to know! I'm a vacay splurger so I'll save my dimes for the good cabana lol! Thanks everyone for the tips!! Please keep emailing coming! So glad the key is still around!
  21. Hi all! My last cruise was in 2019 and I'm so excited that I booked a cruise with my bestie for January 2024. I've missed cruising so much! The biggest ship I've been on is Freedom and we just booked Allure for a short 4 night cruise. I'm just now starting research as I just booked 5 minutes ago. So if anyone feels like dishing some details I'd appreciate it! We had booked The Key on our last cruise and loved it. Is this still available and is it available on Allure? We really enjoyed those benefits. We are in stateroom 14190 at the beginning of the hump. I've always booked the hump because the balcony is a little larger due to the shape. Is this the same on Allure? Also I haven't been to Coco Cay since 2017. Is it much different? I LOVE ziplines and am wondering if by chance they added one? Also are there still over the water cabanas and which is the best? So excited to be back in the forums and having a cruise to look forward to. Thanks in advance!
