The only way that NCL is going to improve the selection is if people stop paying for the rubbish they are offering now. What used to be a good buy, is not anymore.

We are getting on the Seashore for a two-week B2B on the 14th. Can you let us know who the entertainers are in the Top Sail Lounge? Hoping one of them is Bernard 🙂
Thank You!
We are doing the same B2B, are you planning on doing anything on Cape Canaveral on our turnaround day?

Are YC passengers able to use top 19 solarium?

Last night we ended up at a place called Lincoln's Beer Brewery for some beer and food. The food is provided by a separate food stand out back of the brewery called Tacos & Tattoos. We loved the atmosphere and the beer was pretty good, as was the food. It was a nice little side trip, even if it did mean an extra round of Lyft rides. We came back to the hotel after, watched a movie, and then got to bed pretty early and now I am awake *too* early!
One of my favorite hangouts! Which of the beers did you try?

Getting into Syd Norman's early is no longer a perk in the Haven. I asked about it on the Escape New Year cruise and was told by the concierge that they had received a memo from HQ saying that it was no longer to be offered.
I was bummed to say the least, and I did mention it in my feedback at the end of the cruise, as one of the reasons that I pay extra to book Haven class is so that I don't have to worry about getting into shows etc.

i have tried very hard to forget them.
thanks for reminding me!
it's not that the game shows are badly done. they're not. they're done exceedingly well. it's just not full-scale quality cruise ship entertainment. you could say NCL is pressing its luck, hoping that customers won't mind, when in fact many do. perhaps they'd feel differently if when purchasing their cruise, the price was right. but it rarely is.
NCL is finding all the ways to monetize the entertainment, from mini golf to darts and now the evening shows will be moving to the "pay to play" arena.

Is anyone else having difficulty with the app AND the website? I’ve got the app updated to the most current version, but am unable to book any dining, entertainment or shore excursions for my 1/19/24 cruise. Months ago, when dining first was available to book, I had no difficulty booking what I needed. Now the website tells me there was an error and to logout and try back later. The app refuses to let me select a party for dining or shorex. It lets me select a dining or excursion time, then just gives me the little spinning widget instead of allowing me to select a party. SO frustrating! Anyone else? Or any help you can offer? I’m worried I won’t be able to check in for my cruise when that opens next week.
Try using a different browser, there are times when the website misbehaves for me if I am using firefox and when I switch to Chrome it works perfectly.

Anyone else experienced difficulty logging on to the NCL website?
I've been trying to download my EDOC's since Thursday. I've called Technical Support and was told it's effecting about 35% of the users.
Obviously they're closed on weekends. I sail the 26th of November, so I realize I have a little time but am a bit worried.
Anyone else?
Firefox not working for me either, working fine on Chrome.

Looking forward to your experiance on Seashore. We are on our 1st MSC in March 2024. We are NCL loyalist, so trying something new. We will be in the Yacht Club. Looking forward to your live report.
Us too, first MSC YC in April after many NCL Haven trips. NCL price increases and across the board cost cutting measures have driven us to explore other options.

I travel probably 20-24 weeks a year for work. Packing takes me about 10 minutes. I have a cruise booked in 3 weeks and I'll pack my bag and empty it twice before it's ready to be packed for the cruise. There's no way I could leave my bag out for a week to pack for a trip. It would drive me crazy. I just make a list so I don't forget anything and if you do forget something, as long as you remember the big 4 -
Wallet, Passport, Keys, Phone.
Everything else you can buy.
It used to be the big 4 for me too, but as you get older that number changes.. +1 glasses for reading...+1 glasses for seeing...+1 medication
I'm sure there will be more as the years progress....

NCL is removing spa rooms from cruises.
When going to make a payment today for our cruise in March, I see our room category has changed from Spa Club Balcony Suite to just Balcony Suite and a different number.
Our honeymoon cruise in Nov 2024 no longer has The Haven Spa Suite with Balcony either, they switched us to 'The Haven Penthouse Suite with Balcony'
When I checked the room pages they show now for Breakaway, 'Departments before Jan 07, 2024' have Spa rooms, including Club Balcony Suite, Baclony, and The Haven,
On our Getaway ship, they've stripped all club rooms starting Jan 02, 2024
This is some major BS as someone who booked these two rooms for the spa privelges, when I could've just purchased it onboard separately.
Really shoddy service and way to treat people with existing reservations, shame on NCL.
Surely if you have already bought and paid for these cabins before Jan7th the booking will stand as printed.
The name of the cabin may have changed but the amenity is still available.

If you look at the deck plans they now have "For bookings before January 7, 2024" and "For Bookings after January 7, 2024" on Blicc, Breakaway and other Thermal Spa ships.
Where can I see new deck plan, can you link please?

Definitely something going on. I have a cruise coming up in December, in a Haven Spa room. My room number now missing from my account. I was looking at another cruise in April and last week spa rooms were in abundance, now there are none.
I checked the Escape for 2 months out and nothing, in any category spa.
Something is going on methinks.......

This review actually annoyed me.
Judgemental much?
Would have been a good review if you hadn't made so many nasty snide remarks.
I hope you fixed the signpost, or at least attempted to, or are you too good for that too?

Where do we book on island massage. Cant do it on line I guess we have to do on the ship?
Yes, on the ship on embarkation day. Find any of the spa representatives when you board, or go to the Spa, tell them what treatment you want, but tell them you want it in GSC Spa. If you are in the Haven there will be a spa rep by the concierge desk who can do it for you.

On Great Stirrup Cay the beverage package works! There are three complimentary food locations on the island, Jumbey Beach Grill, Abaco Taco, and Tropic Like Its Hot.
If you splurge and pay for an on island spa treatment at the on island Mandara spa, you will also get access to the Silver Cove area which is normally reserved for those who have booked a Silver Cove Cabin or Villa. There you can go to the Silver Cove buffet which has some better offerings. you will also have access to the Moet bar, which is free if you have the upgraded drinks package, or a small upcharge if you don't. FYI there is a lovely outdoor hot tub at the spa you can use too.
Considering a last minute Yacht club cabin

I had my first Yacht Club experience on the Seashore this year. My husband and I looked at each other at the end of the cruise and said that we preferred it to the NCL Haven.
Everything you need is in the YC , we left, as you said, only for the casino and the theater. Variety in the restaurant, very attentive butlers, evening entertainment, beautiful pool deck with outdoor grill and outdoor bar, plenty of seating and good size (if a little cool) hot tubs.
Give it a chance, it is very different from main deck experience.
