Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. On Enchantment last month on this itinerary. We did dock at Roatan. As others said, you may not based on how many other ships. Tender only in Belize. Enchantment had announcements that no motorized wheelchairs or even non-motorized would be able to tender. Only people able to step into the tender themselves.
  2. I swapped them out for Miller Lite last Monday. Just went to the open bar on the deck, and it was no problem.
  3. I've never heard of this. Our upcoming Daily Planner for 3 day cruise on Friday has this. It says: "Mini Bar on Demand. It's your mini bar, so fill it with everything you like. Order forms are located inside your stateroom and should be hung on your stateroom door once complete. We offer same-day delivery for orders placed before 5 pm. The mini bar is not included with beverage packages." Does anybody know what the prices for these would be? I a Diamond and also Prime in the casino, so don't have a drink package. But I am traveling with my son who is neither Diamond, nor Prime. Trying to figure out economical ways for him to have some drinks. Thanks.
  4. Boleros. It's always empty in the mid-afternoon, and they don't do trivia or anything like that there. If the bar isn't open for people to grab a drink, they can walk over to the pub, get one, and then come back to Boleros. It's a hopping place sometimes in the evening with dancing, but not usually mid-afternoon.
  5. Rome last month, my husband and I (mid-fifties in tourist gear) got stopped by the Italian police and asked for our passports. He took them from us, got in his car, plugged in our information, came back out 10 minutes later, handed them back to us and thanked us. No idea why we were singled out amongst the many others around the area. So it does happen sometimes.
  6. Did you have to book the shuttle through Royal Caribbean from train station to pier, or can you just get it upon arrival? Thanks.
  7. Just received Royal Up from junior suite to grand suite on Brilliance of the Seas on June 5th for $220/person. I think I will cancel my drink package, although still debating on that now. A port intensive cruise, so drinks in the lounge each evening should be enough I would think.
  8. I was on Symphony 3 weeks ago and it was $10 minimum, and each chip was at least $2 (you could not get $1 chips). This was at all times, early and late.
  9. Thank you everyone. Confusing, but I think I have it now. Too bad it's not as it is now. I'd be Diamond (due to post-2005 cruises).
  10. Does anybody remember how many points you should have received for pre-2006 Crown & Anchor points? I'm trying to figure out if what they gave me was correct. In 2001, I was in a suite for 7 days. In 2004, I was in a non-suite for 7 days. In 2005, I was in a suite for 5 days. They gave me 21 for this. Is this correct? It may be, because I believe the transfer of the days was different back then, but I want to confirm it should not be 31. Thanks.
