Just to explain- the picture pair is taken from the "Plan my cruise" pages the right side with euros is when I'm signed in and the other when the sign up automatically turns off when there is no activity for 5 minutes. That is really 😐.

This is the biggest difference between MSC and Celebrity. In MSC main dining room they just left the bottle on the table as there were 4 of us sharing the same wine. No extra cost on top of the package. Wise sommeliers/ Waiters just saved their feet.

Last cruise Eclipse we had both: for me the basic wifi and my husband had premium. What was the most surprising was that those friends who are using I phone or Mac like we do, we could send all pictures perfectly to them - from my phone it took maybe bit longer than with my husbands wifi connection but those who uses other technologies could never get any mails from me. Maybe someone knows the facts behind.

There is a locker room nearby Plaza de Catalunia named "Locker Barcelona"- we have used its services twice. Be early if you have large suitcases as the space is limited.

Also it can be so that they will not deliver the ordered wines at all. This happened to us last summer. After contacting guest relation twice we get wine - but not the one we ordered. We asked to remove it and get money back.

No there were no buses for Celebrity at that time - only for Jupiter they started embarkation at 11 ish. At the time we organized ourselves for the embarkation sign up queue there were no lines for embarkation buses at all - we just walked in. As I mentioned they started to build up the embarkation desk about at noon. I suppose that we were embarking to the ship among first ones - maybe it was the second or third bus. The problem seemed to be the other (container) traffic in the port and lack of traffic control for cruise buses. Our cruise was just what we expected - bit chilly though. ( so as a tip to becoming cruisers do not hesitate to take the winter coat with you it is really windy) What I would do better is to inform the cruising highlights somewhere in the info tv just to anticipate better the timing of the main landscape highlights like the Canal Beagle and its glaciers/ ice streams which happened to be very early morning. Eclipse is a bit worn at the moment - upholstering in public places and restaurants really need some updating but the personnel was great - maybe bit in better than in Edge - but it is also a dependent of supervising and resources as well. Only disappointment which we had was the Murano restaurant. The food quality and service was not worth of money- just to compare last summer Edge and Eden restaurant which was phenomenal both in taste &quality of food. I loved the daily lectures by the environmentalist even they were very light they were very entertaining.

We were also in this Xmas cruise from Santiago to Buenos Aires - We came straight from Santiago to Valparaiso early - we left our hotel at 9:00 and were in Valparaiso port terminal at 10:30 ' ish - That time they were still disembarking and they started to build up the embarkation area in the terminal. I think a bit late - abt at noon. Luggage point was bit in an odd place and not very easy place if you have large suitcases - it is behind the terminal building and even the personnel in terminal was not able to guide us to the right place - please ask the taxi driver to drop you off after the terminal building not where the main doors are ( Naturally if the if the setup is still the same). We embarked about 12:30 and get our luggage about 14:00. We heard from others that the there were a mess going on at the port.... so my suggestion is : Be early.

Last summer we had a MED cruise with Edge and Heineken zero was a part of non alc. package. Also get all bottled / cans of water as well as Pellegrino&Evian and Spa Cafe juices + virgin drinks in bars+ Al Bacio coffees without alcohol.

Just made a quick math : Our last cruise we had the non alc. package and we bought wines by bottle- as we do not drink martinis or other bar mix drinks. A full bottle "standard" Moet Chandon cost 75 usd + 20% = 90 usd ( with some discount by CC) of which we can have 6 glasses ( standard glass is 1,25 dl ) then the one glass price 20% inlcuded is 15 usd. So why to bother a crap champagne ( a bottle price in shop less than 25 eur) with definitely too high price.

In our last cruise on Edge waiters were quite well informed and trained about the lactose free and other dietary options. In MDR menu there are typically a sign to mark lactose or milk free options - but not in all. In my opinion they have learned their lesson and waiters ask about your food allergies before they start serving. I had both very good service (they made the same portion without mascarpone) and a bad one - they informed the ingredients wrong. Lactose is sometimes difficult as it might be also as a "sugar" in some products like in meat cold cuts or lurking in desserts as condensed milk.

I just read an article where stated that when the (sulphur)emission regulations changed 2020 the vessels that a have flue gas scrubbers can use less clean fuel. Vice versa: If the vessel does not have sulphur scrubber it must use a cleaner fuel to fulfill the limits- which is naturally more expensive.

We had the tasting menu and without the wine pairing. Instead of the wine pairing we took one btl of champagne. Wine tasting price is 100USD/pp. Just warn you that the amount of food is enormous.

Fresh juices are only available in Spa Cafe according to our last cruise a week ago in Edge - they serve them as ready made mix - the menu is available in the app and they are included in Zero Proof package. Smoothies does not belong to the pack.

Food is looking absolutely great! It's only 6 days to go...can't wait. Question: How those wines were billed? Were they served by a glass? I suppose they do not belong to the fee.

All but CC expired on June 15th in the Moveup pages - then they activated all again on 19th June and all are still available for bids and CC pending. The ship is fully booked.

I noticed the same last summer: even we had the premium pack the wines served was just mediocre. Altough it is unfair to compare the MSC's wines met our taste better even in the normal selection. For the next X-cruise we took the non-alcoholic pack and buy wines in full bottles - and save a lot of money (96 eur/pp/day- 30eur/pp/day =60 eur/pp/day )as we do not consume alcoholic cocktails at all. With daily 2 pp daily budget you can get even the top shelve wines- just hoping that they are available.

Typically travelling to Indonesia you need a Visa on arrival which you get from the airport. I found this https://molina.imigrasi.go.id/ This e- visa is new to me too but the pages is at least the official one - not the traders pages. Price seems to be near 30 euro as the rupiah course is 0,000061.

This morning the situation was 20% from the prices which were never earlier published. The Classic was originally 92,07 eur and premium 112,77 eur. Now the prices are for Classic 100,17eur- 20% = 80,12 eur and premium 122,68 eur -20% =98,14 eur. They really do not care the legislation. This is a price manipulation on its best/worse.

This morning the prices went back to "normal" prices 112,77 / 92,07 eur . No other discounts but the -7% pre cruise discount.

Now the situation is that when I open X pages the prices are 50% sale and prices are in USD - but when I sign in and get prices in Eur they are not in sale....gee this is mad 🤯 .
