  1. I'm not a local but my wife & I too will be arriving on Thanksgiving Day for a Rhapsody of the Seas cruise on the 30th. I guess both ships will be leaving on Sat. Trying to figure which terminal for our ship since both are leaving on same day. We are staying at the Hilton Downtown because their in house restaurant called 211 will be open on Thanksgiving Day. I called them to confirm this a month or so ago. That's why we are staying there. Also I found out that the Columbia Restaurant on East 7th Avenue near N 21st Street(kind of famous Spanish restaurant in Ybor City) will also be open for Turkey day. Not sure of the pricing for Thanksgiving though. You can call them if your interested. Regular Menu's available on both web sites. I think that it is terrific what you are doing with Kidney Dialysis patients. Kudos to you! Have a wonderful cruise! and good luck raising money for a great cause! Mike
  2. If your a Hilton Honors reward member, if you link your Lyft and Hilton Honors accounts, you get Hilton points for using Lyft.
  3. Never tried Celebrity so we booked a 10 nighter on the Reflection but was interested in our friends joining us and they are leaving next week on the Adventure and I know with Royal you can get perks by booking while on board. Hopefully you can with regards to Celebrity. I know they offer same status and they are Diamond with Royal. when you log into Celebrity, unlike Royal allows you to "share" the details of your cruise with friends and family. Of course I don't know right now if they are interested or not.
  4. While on RCCL, can you book a future cruise on Celebrity since RCCL is the parent company of Celebrity?
  5. Does anyone know on average what terminal the Rhapsody of the Seas leaves from in Tampa. I know he Brilliance will also be in at same time. Does one get preference over the other?
  6. Hampton Inn Ybor City is about 1-2 miles from terminal depending on which terminal and offers park, stay & cruise rates but for 7 nights subject to availability. Contact hotel to see if they offer for 14 nights or at least charge extra for the other 7 nights.
  7. If it's at T-18 how far a walk to midport garage? Do they offer a shuttle between them?
  8. Do they offer valet parking at Port Everglades and does anyone know what terminal Celebrity Reflection goes out of?
  9. When will the rest of 2021 be made available on NCL. Like the Panama Full Canal.
  10. That fine but if the cabin is not ready yet. Opens at 1pm usually. How would I get the scooter to go to the windjammer for lunch. Would they let me get the scooter before they open up the cabins? I usually board(when they first call for boarding) in order to have lunch on board in the windjammer before it gets too crowded.
  11. We will be a group of 24(yes 24), should I contact Marlene as well and she will hopefully work her magic? The Rhapsody has a conference room off the MDR. Wonder if Marlene can give us that for such a large group?
  12. 149 days until Rhapsody. Travelling with 24 of my daughters husbands relatives. Big group!
  13. Thanks. I don't use or need one or a wheelchair at home but found after my last cruise in May that a scooter would be a big help as I can't walk far. Royal gave me the size that would fit in a regular stateroom which I have and plan to rent a 3 wheel one from scootaround but was unfamiliar with this company. I went on the disable thread for more info. Thanks for your info.
  14. I called RCCL and they gave me the size of what would fit in a regular room and the 3 wheel Pride GoGo scooter fits into a regular stateroom. I plan on renting one from Scootaround as I just have trouble walking far and would be easier with having a scooter. Don't have one at home My question is if anyone knows will they rent one that can be picked up in the terminal(Tampa) vs the stateroom and if so where do you return it?
  15. Low deck and midship is all well and good for cabin location but unless you stay in your cabin the whole cruise you still go to other top decks(buffet and other reasons)both front and aft.
