There is no skywalk at the Galveston terminal.

We got the balcony to suite offer a few years back. After researching it, I told them to call when we could really save, haven't heard from them since regarding this offer.

Was on the Dream in February, and started losing money within minutes. :) Later in the cruise the craps table loosened up and had a very good cruise.

Yes, we do it all the time.

We live off SH 6 & US 90. It use to take us 50 minutes from our house to the Galveston terminal. With the build up down Hwy 6 towards Galveston it now takes us up to 1 1/2 hours just to get to the terminal. Add another 20-30 for parking, etc.

Just be advised that all checked in luggage must be at the terminal by 2pm or you will have to carry it on.

The Breeze relocation was appealing, but we already had family stuff on the books. I was hoping to catch the Vista on it relo cruise. I guess it will be a clean up and crew party for 3-4 days.

Before I call CCL, has anyone heard of the Vista doing a relocation cruise from Miami to Galveston? It would be fun to bring her into her new port.

Was on the Dream in February and I believe they opened the casino after sail away. I think they can do that because La. has the so-called riverboat gambling laws.

We had them on the Fascination in May, stayed in JS V-17. Don't know if all rooms had them.

We sail this Sunday, and since departure time is 10 PM, what time does the casino open? After we sail, or since we're in PR after boarding?

How was Sandals in St. Lucia? What did it cost? Were you able to purchase an all inclusive day for food, drink and beach?

 

We leave is coming Sunday. Can't wait. Thanks for the report. Its hard to decide what to do in all of the ports. We have a catamaran snorkel trip booked for St. Thomas and in St. Maarten we are booked on the highest zip line (very excited about this excursion). About to book a tour and beach trip in St. Kitts.

Noticed you sailed several ships that sail out of Galveston now, you a Texas or just like the port? We're flying into SJU Sunday (5/20) for what were are referring to as "The All Saint's Tour).
