Mine is actually multiplying, I am seeing more and more names.
-
I'm now seeing even more people's names than I did before.

It's not just active sessions as I said above.
I opened a different web browser I dont use and it jumped me straight in. They've done something for sure, but not enough and details are still visible.
I can still see Fred's trip from Fiji to Australia. I don't know Fred.

Interesting article about the last data breach in 2021.
It took around eight months to warn customers that their data could be in the hands of cybercriminals
The data breach occurred in August 2021 after a third-party gained unauthorised access to a number of the company’s systems. Some personal data may have been accessed in this breach. This data may include, but isn’t limited to:
- Dates of Birth
- Gender
- Nationality
- Contact information
- Passport numbers
- Driving licence numbers
- Financial account numbers
- Usernames and/or passwords for online accounts
- Scans of official documents
- Data about the health of some Silversea Cruises passengers.
We don’t yet know how many customers were affected by the breach. However, Silversea boasts a fleet of 11 ships, which range in size from 51 to 364 suites, so thousands of people could be involved.
Worryingly, while the breach happened in August last year, it took around eight months to warn customers that their data could be in the hands of cybercriminals.

So now the site will be down for two to three weeks, just like in September 2021, SS will deny any data breach and say they are working to fix the problem; just my opinion.

I think the site has finally been taken down.
Possibly three hours of fully exposed sensitive and confidential data...not so bad, right?

It's been over two hours already...

I have called them and they were well aware. The fellow I spoke to in the US said "Heads are going to roll"

Same with me, Les. I think we might be on the same voyage soon? What little I could see of my own booking indicates that I need to complete the Guest Information Form, which was done ages ago. What a mess.

I don't think it's Alaska specific, Stumblefoot. I have itineraries from Fiji to Australia in a month and Lisbon to somewhere about a year from now that aren't mine. Have had several different names come up with all contact info. I keep logging off and logging back in and having new people pop up.

Same issue here and every time I login I see a different passenger's info.

It’s pretty rough, isn’t it, Spins?!!!

Nobody reserving deck chairs on the Dawn right now amid rain, howling wind and active seas. Pool deck is empty, save for this restless Canadian. Went to check out the aft whirlpool and had to grip the railing the entire way.

Hi Lois,
Do you know if there was an opportunity onboard near the end of your cruise for Canadian passengers to obtain a PCR test as currently required for re-entry in Canada?
Thank you for all of your great information!
-
Your posts are very much appreciated, Lois and Highplanesdrifters, as there are many eyes on this thread as it relates to future travel. Many, many thanks. I am booked on the last voyage of the season on the Muse and protocols seem to change frequently. It feels particularly difficult trying to get to Seattle from Canada with airline testing requirements. Thank you again.

Anybody know who the Cruise Director is on the Moon?

I'm going to respond to this question with my own honest opinion and my own practices having been on many SS cruises and without judgment to others and their cultures or personal practices. You asked for feedback; here it is.
We tip routinely, whether it is the waiters at the pool, the suite attendant, the butler, the bar manager or in the dining room. I have raised this question in the past and been assaulted for asking it, so I can only offer my own POV. We don't do it for attention, better service or any other reason. Always done discretely, our feeling is that we are incredibly fortunate to be on a beautiful ship and sprinkling a few hundred dollars to make the lives of crew happier is a joyous occasion. That's it. Frequently donate, anonymously, to the crew welfare fund. Haters pile on; folks should do what they want. Tip or don't tip, it's your choice, but don't lambaste those of us who chose to share what we can to bring a little happiness to a hardworking crew.
Enjoy your cruise! The crew do a lot to ensure your every happiness.

Today is day one after the refurbishment. How's she looking?
-
Was curious what others did and if my own practices were too much or too little. I certainly don't understand the sensitivity to the question! Not trying to tip shame anyone here; just taking a poll.
-
Do you tip the waiters at the pool?
-
Have sailed on SS several times and although tipping is included, we always tip both our butler and cabin attendant when we disembark.
Curious what others have to offer in the way of advice for the $ value that would be appreciated by the staff.
Muse Cruise Japan questions...... Anyone on board now or about to sail?

Les,
I received my ticket for the April 26 Osaka to Seward and it is, indeed, Tempozan.
YOUR PRE-CRUISE INFORMATION The ship will be located at Tempozan Passenger Terminal pier. Guests will be permitted to embark the vessel from approximately 2:00- 4:00PM.
