5. Finally the escape room question - will this show up sometime on the cruise planner to be booked ahead of time or can it only be booked onboard?
For the escape room, you must book through the cruise planner prior to cruising. You may be able to onboard, but spots fill up quickly. Also, there is a limit to the number of people allowed to participate, I think around 15, if that affects you with your number of travelers. But you can reserve the day and time on the cruise planner just as you do with dining reservations. You can also link guests from other reservations the same way as well.

The ones on deck 11 are both going to be identical, just opposite sides of the ship. I would choose one of the deck 11s over the one on deck 12 because deck 11 will give you a larger balcony, and a better view of aqua theater shows at night.

I can't speak on Symphony, but assuming it's the same, we had a cabin on deck 8 of Harmony near dazzles, and did not hear any disturbances or noise. They do well with containing the music. You should be fine!

Getting real now. Finally got my concierge email for our May 26th cruise. The only thing I really need from him is dinner reservations at coastal kitchen since we can’t make those online. Email said dinner reservations are required for CK. Anything else people ask for?
If it's still dexter on Allure, get to know him and he will help you out a bunch. Everyone has different needs, and you won't know them until on board. He is extremely kind and helpful!

I haven't been able to find a straight answer on this. I'm looking to possibly book a Junior Suite and Grand Suite for 4 of us total. I know Junior Suites can usually get in for dinner, but is it possible to bring them as guests for breakfast or lunch? And then additionally to the suite lounge area?

Thanks. It's kind of hard to know in advance what day or time we're going to want to try Wonderland. I wonder if I reserve it in the cruise planner if it's possible to change the day/time after we get onboard, pending availability.
It is possible to do so and they will try and work with you, however most of the main times, 6-7:30, will most likely be filled once onboard. But yes you can stop by the restaurant and see what they have to say!

Thank you everyone. In regards to the free drinks in the Suite Lounge, Is that all day or limited to 'happy hour' like Diamond perks?
So you know, suite lounge will only exist on the Oasis or Anthem of the 3 you are looking at. Adventure of the seas does not have Royal Suite Class, so the suite experience is not as luxurious as on ships like the Anthem or Oasis.

Anyone know if coastal kitchen is open for lunch the day we get on the Allure?
Open, not busy at all, and a fantastic wait staff to take care of you on Allure. Make sure you eat there plenty during your cruise!

I personally like planning it and buying ahead of time so you get the time and day that you want. I'm sure you'll be able to get a reservation on board, and might get lucky with a cheaper price, but the time may not be right for you. If planning around your dinner is how you like to do your cruising, book on the cruise planner.

My family and I cruised on the Harmony of the Seas 2 summers ago, and are looking into another Harmony cruise this summer. However, we're having a hard time with the fact we'd be on the same ship again. No other dates or cruises work for us, so this is our only option, and we are deadset on cruising this summer. What are some reasons or things we might have missed that will help us feel better about cruising on the Harmony again?

The comedy club is certainly hit or miss. I understand it is adult, that being said our most
recent sailing was disgusting. The comedian focused primarily on his need for oral sex, he even
simulated a person unwilling performing oral sex. Am I the only one who doesn't think this is
funny? I wish there were some parameters so scheduling this with family and friends isn't a
big gamble in taste level.
My family has had this same issue and always chooses to not attend. However, last year on Allure we attended the Family Comedy show in the last day just to see how it went. It was the same comedians, but jokes that were appropriate and hilarious. Just as a Jim Gaffigan or Brian Regan can do it, these guys pulled it off tremendously and I recommend giving the Family show a try. It's not a little kids show, it's just clean jokes.

I have been on the first three Oasis class ships 3 years in a row (In the order of Oasis, Harmony, Allure). So I was on the Harmony in August of 2017, and am looking into going again this August. I am wondering if there have been any small adjustments to the ship since then. I know she hasn't been dry docked, so this just out of curiosity. And if there haven't been any updates, what are some lesser known things to do on Harmony that I might've missed before?
Also, does the suite life on Harmony have any differences compared to Allure or Oasis? Thanks all!

You can show up at any time and get on the ship when they start letting others on. The times are just there to try and spread out people throughout the day and making it less crowded.

I believe you are thinking of the Allure.. they had donuts on the boardwalk two years ago. Not sure if they still do.
Allure had them when I went last august

We never bring formal clothing when we cruise, however you may feel out of place in the main dining room if you are not dressed formally. We usually dine specialty on those two nights as the dress code is always smart casual for those restaurants and normal dinner attire is acceptable.

Main Dining Room - Breakfast Daily; large center self-serve with meats, fruits, waffles, pancake bar, fresh cereals and yogurts, about 6-10 hot prepared dishes plus ability to order off menu. Lunch: Sea days; similar setup as breakfast. Dinner, of course.
Windjammer: main buffet, breakfast, lunch, dinner.
Solarium Bistro: free for all ages, breakfast and lunch.
Wipeout cafe: morning and afternoon snacks near sports court
Park Cafe for breakfast and lunch in Central Park
Doghouse for hotdogs / sausages for lunch
Johnny Rockets: Free for breakfast on Allure
Cafe Promenade: Quick serve sandwiches and cookies long hours
Sorrentos: Pizza and some anti-pasti. Long hours
Since you got all of this information, I wanted to suggest the best options. Park Cafe is by far the best lunch venue on the ship, their roast beef sandwiches and salads are to die for. Also, the doghouse on the boardwalk will surprise you with its tasty options. Try and take advantage of the Cafe Promenade as well, they are open 24/7 with snack foods, sweets, as well as coffee. Also, Allure has donuts every morning on the boardwalk free of charge, but get there early as they go quickly.

It really depends on the time of the day. If you go to the flowrider right when it opens, there will hardly be anyone there and you can get a lot of time in on it, while midday times can be upwards of 30 minutes, they do try to move people quickly. The zipline will always be crowded, and usually between 30-60 minutes.

I've been on 3/4 Oasis class ships, the only one left out being Symphony, and personally I didn't care for the actual thrill of the Abyss. However, I'm not a fan of heights so it's not made for me. I don't think it takes away from any beauty of the ship though, and I see the extreme appeal to kids, which is always Royal's market. I actually loved the back of the ship on Harmony, with the the two flowriders, and the Abyss right in between. It will definitely be added on the next dry dock, and there really is no reason not to.

I would choose Sabor if going off of a steal of a price for how delicious their quesadillas and guacamole is, but if it's ambiance you are looking for, Giovanni's is your choice. They bring out so much food that you don't know what to do with it. It is one of the best Italians meals I've ever had. Yes Chops is delicious as well, but the experience of Giovanni's along with the taste of the food, trumps just a fantastic steak in my opinion.

Hi all, I've been trying to research the best cruise to choose for a honeymoon! I think I've narrowed it down to a Celebrity ship. I've been on Royal 4 times and love them, but not the best for romance with so many kids. However I've never been on a Celebrity cruise. I love how the new Edge looks, but that may be just a bit out of our price range. We are both in our mid 20s and looking for something fun, but also romantic. I am also open to other cruise line suggestions, I've just found Celebrity may be the perfect balance between romance and fun for our age! We do know we want it to be a summer time cruise in the Caribbean, from 7-10 days! Any suggestion will help! Thank you!

I've been on 5 cruises in my life with my family, and all have been in the Caribbean. we live in Florida, so obviously it's the most convenient. However, after doing Oasis of the Seas 2 summers ago, and Harmony of the Seas this past summer, we want something new and exciting for our ports. What are other must do cruises?
Odyssey of the Seas Royal Suite Class

I've been trying to look into Suite information for the Odyssey without much luck. Looking into the Spectrum, it's been hard to find information on the "Gold/Silver" suite thing it seems they did as well. If anyone knows of anything regarding what the suite class will look like on Odyssey, such as suite lounge, Coastal Kitchen, etc, that would be great. Even the deck plans released are tough to decipher. Thank you!
