  1. Ewww! that said, my DH will really miss the ginger and mints. Does anyone know if they are on the Noordam now?
  2. In March, the Eurodam had a Photo Studio place where we could load our own photos onto the ship computers in the area and create metal or acrylic pictures, luggage tags, mugs, etc. Does this exist on the Noordam now, and if so, where is it?
  3. It is a good idea to also check on your Mariner account balance. I just did and discovered that I hadn’t been given the double days for my last suite.
  4. I don’t see the king crab legs on the menu anymore 😞
  5. It is more of a book exchange than a library. I will bring one “real” book and leave it for others when I am finished. All other books will be on my kindle.
  6. What was the special entree and how did you like it? We are also in a Neptune.
  7. Thanks. I wondered because the blurb for Club Orange mentioned extra offerings in the dining room.
  8. Do you think that the a la carte offering is free for passengers in Neptune suites or who paid extra for the new Club Orange?
  9. On the Eurodam, passengers could use the photo area computers to create metal and acrylic pictures, luggage tags, mugs, etc. from their own photos. Does this now exist on the Noordam?
  10. Thanks for your review. We have been on the Eurodam many times, including last March. Although there is a decrease in the number of individuals who bring "formal" attire, we still see many men in Tuxedos. My husband will wear his, as it fits better than his suits :) We love the special restaurants, especially Tamarind, and BB King music is terrific.
  11. Here is a link to all beverage menus, including the wines: http://www.rogerjett-photography.com/specialty-2/hal-regular-and-specialty-restaurants/hal-beverage-menus
  12. Thanks for the heads-up. I have already loaded my kindle, but I used to like to have paper books available for reading at the pool. Oh well. I’ll just need to be extra careful to keep my kindle dry.
  13. Facetime is a wifi based calling system used by iPhones. You can call over either video+audio, or audio only. We have used it all over the world and on Azamara ships while at sea (when we had free included wifi). Perhaps we can use the audio only FaceTime with the mid-tier wifi package and upgrade if necessary.
  14. Maybe I will have to content myself with iMessage instead of FaceTime
  15. What is the real difference between the Surf and the Premium Internet plans. I want to access Facebook, Email, and FaceTime calling (iPhone). Can I get away with the Surf package?
  16. Which plan will allow FaceTime calls on an iPhone and checking email?
  17. I will be on the Eurodam in 2 weeks and I am wondering about the library. In recent years, the number of new novels have been non-existent. Most books were 5+ years old. Has this changed at all?
