Are there any organized hikes in the afternoon around 30 minutes away or less, that would pick up from a cruise ship ?

Can you get on the city bus near Creek St? Do you know how often it's runs to Totem Bright? Did you have to wait long to get the return bus?

It was a link somewhere off the " Why book our shore excursion" page on the website. The term was not JUST specialist. It was "Dedicated shore excursion specialist"

Hi all! I am going on the 7 day Glacier Discovery south bound cruise. I have called Holland America's " Dedicated excursion specialist" to find out if on the day that our Cruise Ship is cruising around Hubbard Glacier, will we just have the one excursion offered that day, which is: "Excursions by Catamaran & enchanting disenchantment Bay" One specialist told me there were no excursions offered at all that day, while I was looking straight at it on my itinerary seeing it being offered, so figured I needed to call another" Dedicated Excursion Specialist" This person DID NOT know if this excursion was the only one offered that day or know if it fill up in advance. I have seen some Excursions on my cruise ( on different days) that were SOLD OUT or only 2 spaces left that seem to be booked months in advance. I wanted to know how far in advance I should book this particular "Excursions by Catamaran Hubbard Glacier & enchanted Disenchantment Bay and if this is typically the one excursion offered that day. Does anyone out there know the answer to this or perhaps has been on this particular cruise?

Hello all, Is it best to buy America Holland's Insurance if you want full coverage? Are there other insurances out there that may be better? We are new to cruising.

Right now, the only Whale watching excursion HAL has listed is Luxury at $480.00 per person. I guess I need references for other Whale watching outfitters in Juneau.

Yeah, I probably won't know until I do it. I have not taken many"excursions" before so they seem expensive. Of course I am interested in all the $400.00 and up excursions.

Yes, I do want to go Whale watching. I will be there in mid May so I hope that's not to early in the season.

Hello, There are many different excursions to purchase when we get to the various ports on our HAL Alaska 7 day Glacier Discovery Cruise. Many excursions are quite expensive so I am asking for advice and opinions on which ones are worth the money and which ones are not. I am open to doing most everything except since I will have been on NINE hr 🙀 train ride earlier on my trip, I don't think I will want to get on another train ride as one of my excursions. I just want to try and make the best choice. Any feedback is appreciated!
