  1. We just got our first shots, I hope you're correct.
  2. We've always been put up in London. Long ride from LHR and a longer ride to Southhampton. Would much have preferred staying south of LHR but think most people like staying in, what I think is a too busy, London.
  3. We were on the Explorer cruise that ended 3/12/2020 in Miami. We flew home via Washington National to Seattle without any issues. Still wondering how lucky we were to be on the last completed cruise.
  4. We have a May Explorer scheduled, our final payment was moved to March. Check with you travel agent.
  5. We're also booked on this cruise and hoping the waitlist is for capacity control. I'm sure they would like to sell highest priced suite. Got to get the border open first.
  6. We did an Explorer round trip London (Southampton) last fall. I hadn't been to London in many years and was very disappointed. Too much traffic and people. Would have much preferred Regent to put us up in Southampton.
  7. We're early diners at home but find we have enough to do on board that we generally don't dine until 7:00 or 7:30. There is always a line up for Compass Rose to open, then there are the late diners, so we find waiting just a bit after opening works well. We are booked on your cruise and hope to join you.
  8. Can someone who has been in a PH Suite on both the Explorer and the Splendor, please let us know about the pros and cons of the changes? We have been in one on the Explorer and liked it very much, the shower in particular . The Splendor floor plans on the Regent site show a layout that I can't make much sense of.
  9. Met Renaldo, if you can believe it at the pool bar, great guy. Cruise was good food was excellent. Service was generally efficient with a few staff new to Regent. When we got to United at MIA, after a walk that reminded me of Heathrow, we found out our tickets had been refunded. United was no help told us to call our agent. Thankfully we have an excellent one that got us rebooked in about 20 long minutes. Maybe you can save a bit doing your own air but we were glad we used Regent air. Will never forget that we were on the last successfully completed Regent cruise of the Corona virus era
  10. Thanks for you review, we sail on Monday same route and will be staying at the same hotel, hope we get to the ship before 3.
  11. We sailed with Captain Green as staff captain and on his first command on an Amazon cruise, great guy, sorry to see him leave Regent but understand his wanting to spend more time with his family.
  12. We have over 400 days cruising, from insides on Carnival to suites on Holland and Celebrity. We started on Radisson some time ago and now sail Regent exclusively. You know the total price in advance so if you do a complete comparison it's not that much more expensive and the food, service and feeling of being remembered just can't be beat.
  13. We will be on this cruise, our first as platinum, with well over half our days on the Navigator, now our second favorite to the Explorer. The last two crossings we have done in the fall were rerouted south but don't think that will work going to Montreal. As Flossie said it's a very good price.
  14. The we only time we were in PR was long ago on the Navigator. The only other ship in port was the Diamond.
  15. Get a Quip, lasts a month on a single A cell and works as good as any electric plug in I've used.
