  1. I’m telling you guys, NO KIDS ON EITHER 16 or 17 SUNDECK.
  2. To my understanding, there is no haven outdoor space besides the restaurant that the children under 16 can access. Unlike the away class ships which have the Haven courtyard. The Prima has limited options for the little ones.
  3. I don’t know how you are confident that getaway will be able to arrive or depart safely on Thursday with an active hurricane in the middle or even off to the side of Florida. First, there will be 20-30 foot seas on the east coast of Florida starting Wednesday afternoon until about Friday morning. All this while she is trying to traverse her way from New York. Second, a lot of people are flying in, there will be thousands of canceled flights over two days. many of these flights booked with NCL air. NCL would have to (long gasp) refund these people if they miss the ship. My thoughts on this is the the cruise will be shortened to 7 possibly 8 nights with a prorated refund for the unused nights. Leaving Friday or Saturday is more realistic at this point. I’ve been watching the models and they all shifted over the state. Now that we are within 7 days, this hurricane is more predicted and I’m afraid this is inevitable. Also for your record, I have my degree in atmospheric science.
  4. Super doubtful on the prima but if you do, see you topside!
  5. I have never seen this particular discount. I would snag that deal asap!
  6. They will be surprised how less crowded it is due to less rooms. I couldn’t disagree with you more. Non prima, because I haven’t been yet. The epic has the best haven followed by the getaway and breakaway. The escape, joy, bliss and encore are still nice but a tad too crowded for me. I like the more intimate vibe of the getaway and breakaway haven.
  7. They already have this slide onboard. It’s called the smokestack 😂 you should try it!
  8. No the only people who post topics on here are for people who’ve never sailed on prima and like to speculate and assume a lot. Continue talking about 🛝. 🍿 🍿 🍿
  9. It’s funny people are still talking about the slides that have never been on the ship and most of the people on the ship aren’t reporting back this problem at all. You SHOULD be concerned about the reports of the creaking and groaning of the ship that almost everyone is posting on their FB and YouTube. Many people are losing sleep over it especially in the Haven. Now THATS a problem that should be a 6 page thread. Not tubes imposing on a view.
  10. Indeed! You get much more choices of meats. Try with the pichania. It is absolutely delicious, if you like it a certain temperature. (We like it more well done) just let the host know. They bend over backwards for Haveners. I'm not sure why, but We have tried Le bistro 3 times on different ships and never had a good meal there so in recent cruises I’ve stayed away. Too me it’s the Olive Garden of French restaurants. Not quite up to the standards of genuine French cooking. We love the haven restaurant but the menu gets old after the 4th night. We like a little more variety. (As you do as well) see you soon!
  11. Nice! Me and my wife are on the same cruise and floor in the haven (2 bedroom) Don’t over look Moderno. IMHO it’s the best specialty restaurant on the ship if you get the right things. This will be our 4th time on the getaway. Looking FWD to your review!
  12. Those who ask for all those crazy requests from the MDR, making the runner go all over the ship after working 12 hours. That’s fine. Good for your. You deserve it. You paid for it. You earned it! Enjoy the spit!
  13. Do you know why this code comes up? I find it strange. I mean I just booked a haven cruise on prima with it and it saved $1200.00. I hope it’s not too good to be true
  14. I have never seen a bunch of FIRST WORLD ISSUES as everyone on here crying about this. It’s almost like reading that people are convinced the slider (rider) is landing on their balcony lol.
  15. I miss the bathtub the most. 2 small showers are a downgrade. But everything else is an improvement.
  16. Where the tubes connect, they do put sound deadening material and the tubes are much thicker then regular dry slides. It’s pretty sound proof. If you ever have been on oasis class you would notice that you never hear anything from the slides unless you are within a few feet of either opening.
  17. The screams (if any) from slides are projected out of the tube at the bottom and top. Not through the side of the slide. The slide maybe 🤔 partially obstructs the view of 2, maybe 4 haven cabins. NCL will not remove the slides in any dry dock. When the slides were added to oasis class, it obstructed dozens of cabins from being able to watch the show at the aqua theater, when people complained, they just continued to add slides to the ships even more. And one thing I’m certain of is I’ve never heard screams unless I was very near to the entrance or exit of the slides. The slides are an popular attraction for non haveners, which make up a majority of the ship (more revenue for NCL) so they are not going anywhere, I can promise you that. If anything, later down the road after 1000 formal complaints, maybe, MAYBE they will relabel the cabins “partially obstructed view” and charge $200 less. This is really the best outcome you can hope for. If you really have a problem with it then don’t book the location or complain to NCL. Or better yet, book a real luxury line where you can be with other peoples of your kind and get together in stuffy dining rooms and complain and those hideous slides over at “poor people cruise lines” I really can’t see NCL giving any compensatory monies for this situation as cheap as they are. Most likely your request will be filtered from concierge to shoreside and then in the eternal abyss.
  18. Do you happen to know what are the specialty restaurants for the suite class on prima?
