  1. Thanks very much, sounds like an efficient system.
  2. We are our cruise in June - 7 day Alaska Inside Passage on the Nieuw Amsterdam. Can anyone give me some idea of how long it is likely to take to disembark in Vancouver? We arrive in Vancouver at 7am on 29/6. Is there some system they use for disembarking? Thanks
  3. Thanks so much for your great trip report it was so informative and the photos were excellent. Could I ask you a couple of things. You had a verandah stateroom which we have booked also, did you spend much time on the verandah on the sea days or are the views better on the main decks? What deck were you on? We are on Deck 8 mid ship. Do you it is worth renting a cabana for the Glacier Bay day? Thanks again for an enjoyable read.
  4. Thanks for the quick response. I don't think I'll do the beverage package. We would only have a couple of drinks per day.
  5. Hi, we are first time cruisers heading to Alaska on Nieuw Amsterdam in June 2019. Is it worthwhile pre purchasing a Beverage package, are they good value? Thanks
  6. We are doing a 7 day Alaska Cruise with HAL in late June 2019. I'm trying to select the tours we want to do. I am looking at the Tracy Arm Fjord & Glacier tour which meets the ship at Tracy Arm and takes us into the areas the Cruise ships can't go to and then delivers us to Juneau late afternoon. Has anyone done this tour? I would also like to do a seaplane or helicopter tour to the Mendenhall Glacier but I'm concerned that if we do the Tracy Arm tour we won't have time to do another tour when we arrive in Juneau. Any advice would be appreciated.
