The title of this thread is pretty clear Are NCL selling cruises to ports they have no intention of going to. So the question isn’t whether what they are doing is in a contract but if they are missing ports deliberately. I don’t have the answer to that but seems focus of thread has shifted. I think its reasonable to want changes to be made before final payment if possible.

I don’t understand where it shows the departure time for a cruise port. I see the arrival time. I also don’t see my excursions in the app and how do i bookmark things?

I read the princess forum and royal caribbean forum and i’ve never seen complaints like this. So yes i think ncl is worse then the others.

Ater seeing all these port changes, i can’t say i’m interested in travelling on ncl. Like it or not, a lot of people cruise for the ports. If they are making changes for flimsy reasons thats not a cruise line i’m interested in.

I thought the date i’m going is expensive but it seems its expensive all around. I’m travelling solo and am staying in 4 bed dorm at hi hostel one night. People will disagree but its only one night and hi hostel has good reputation. I’m canadian and i’m not paying 900.00 for 2 nights in boston so best alternative. Just a note someone mentioned the art gallery in another forum and they have the biggest selection of monet paintings outside france!

It seems like the Royal Caribbean app is a lot better than this princess app judging by comments made. I had no problems.

Thanks i may just stay at comfort inn and suites as it has the best reviews and no complaints about the shuttle. My flight comes in at 10:30 so want to make sure it doesn't take too long. Looks like uber will cost 7-10 to revere beach station and i'm ok with that. I'm assuming uber would take suitcases when taking passengers from airport hotels.

Perhaps they should require the credit card to be valid by those dates you suggested. It would make sense.

Are you familiar with the courtyard boston airport. Its a 13 min walk from wood island but i thought someone said the area isn't good.

Thanks, unfortunately springhills is sold out for the date i want. Right on the blue line too. I will keep my eye out for hilton garden inn i guess unless you know of others on blue line? I guess i can do some sleuthing.

I just found when i booked 3 months out on a canada new england cruise that an excursion i really wanted was sold out. And yes private excursion too if you are suggesting that. So i am leery of last minute ones unless not picky about excursions.

Thats ok i read its 90 minutes. I'm actually wondering as a canadian how interested i will be in this stuff.

Due to prohibitive hotel costs, i plan to spend just one day in Boston before cruise.what would you recommend as highlights? Would you recommend hop on hop off bus%?

I like the way they do it now as a canadian. You get a credit and can book another excursion without triggering a refund. This is good due to exchange rate and exchange rate charge. Not sure if it only works that way that same day.

Sorry to hijack the thread but it seems pertinent. It is worth it to pay for the pink bus. It only costs 28cdn on top of peggys cove tour. I'm thinking an uber would be cheaper to get to citadel. I only have 1/2 a day and want to go to museum.

If i have an excursion in afternoon, am i to assume they wouldn’t meet on the ship but on shore if tendering?

Has anyone stayed at comfort inn and suites airport? Its also in revere but gets great 4.5 reviews. The hampton in is supposed to have a shuttle to subway station. I’m checking out if comfort inn has that as well. I’ve heard a number of recommendations for hilton garden inn which is walking distance to blueline but more expensive. FYI if you are going oct 5, 6, 7 apparently there is 3 conventions in town that makes it worse.
