  1. When I tried to pre-purchase the tour, I noticed that it was the same price that I previously saw on the ship. $35/person. Honestly, I though the tour was cool, but I would not do it again, it was a tight fit and there were too many people in the tour. The brunch afterwards however was AMAZING! Sushi, steak, seafood, amazing desserts. That, I would do again!
  2. Wherever Wonderland is, there you should go! Then again I am a HUGE fan of Wonderland.
  3. When Disney releases their target for opening, I will believe it. Anything else is speculation. I am excited for both Disney and the Cruise Industry to open again. As a Central Florida resident, I miss both! I also though want everyone to be as healthy as possible. Bob Iger recently talked about some of the potential changes we might see at Disney parks, including temp checks/body scans, reduced capacity limits, and virtual queue lines. All of these are great ideas!
  4. Daniel Johnson's is THE BEST! He personally took our boat out for snorkeling. He is a great guy! The Barrier reef that runs down Central America is the 2nd largest in the world and Roatan is top-10 snorkeling in the world. In Cozumel there is a Scuba/Snorkeling park where they have sunk stone statues to increase coral growth.
  5. That is the beauty of social media for us. That is how we keep in contact with some people that we have met on Cruises.
  6. The first cruises my wife and I took, we were placed at a Mixed table for dinner. We didn't know anyone else at the table. We became fast friends with those people and we still keep in touch with those people. We have had kids and they are growing up together though we live hundreds of miles apart. Anyone else created a friendship from sitting at a mixed table at dinner?
  7. As a former Music Major, I really enjoy the musical themes. I think they could use: Aria of the Seas, Orchestra of the Seas, Fanfare of the Seas and such. Things that would not work: Durge of the Deas, March of The Seas, Suite of the Seas (unless all rooms were really suites,) or my personal least favorite: The Toccata and Fugue of the Seas!
  8. My wife and I are still trying to support local restaurants by ordering as much take out and stuff as we can. Needless to say, we basically have leftovers for dinner every night. Not a bad problem. I just feel bad for my 2.5 year old daughter. We both work and we have to keep her entertained while not just sticking in front of a TV the whole day.
  9. There is legend of a man that sails on the Harmony of the Seas. On said ship he works the place they call Wonderland. His name is echoed in the halls of 12th floor. He is a man with vision, a man with style. A man who will give you a smile as quick as a recommendation on what you should eat. He is not a simple man, but a man who knows many-a-thing. Some call him: Hero or Guru. I simply call him, Elton.
  10. And I love Wonderland as much as I love Cats... okay, not THAT much, but Wonderland is such an amazing experience!
  11. Just remember, only one of the ships can you see the greatest show to ever sail the 7-seas! CATS! That is reason enough to sail on Oasis! (This thread has now been turned into a Anti-Cats thread!)
  12. We usually cruise twice a year, and I do not see that changing due to the virus. Unless family planning changes, we will probably stick to two a year!
  13. The Royal Caribbean Blog has an updated (as of this morning) list of where all of the ships are currently sitting. Most of the Oasis class are sitting around Coco Cay.
  14. I am buying some now, and some later. That way IF the price does continue to drop I can still buy at the lower price. I am not just buying for the benefit, I am buying for the brand, I believe in RCL and I know that the stock will rebound. I will not sell when it does, I am in it for the long haul.
  15. Thanks! That is exactly what I am looking for!
  16. Hello! With the current state of the RCL Stock price and having the ability to buy, I recently purchase 100 Shares of the RCL Stock. I heard that I will get some perks if I have 100 or more shares, can someone confirm or elaborate on said perks?
  17. YOU take a taxi from just outside the port, and yes, the resorts pays the taxi driver.
  18. The food was served as a normal meal, first the chips, then the tacos. They did not have snacks, but I also did not ask for anything, the lunch was VERY filling! The picking up to go to the resort was a little difficult, but still easy. Just find the area where all of the Taxis are and ask someone who can take you AlmaPlena. The pickup back to the ship was even easier. The driver was waiting for us in the driveway at our desired time.
  19. Most of the clorox wipes do not do anything against these kind of viruses. What you should invest in, are the Hydrogen Peroxide wipes. It has been proven to kill Noro-virus and OTHER viruses in that vain.
  20. We had 5 ships when I was there in January and I agree this was the worst part. Not terrible, just crammed. Once we got away from the port, there was no worry about too many people.
  21. As others mentioned, yes there is one on board, the only "discount" you will see if the lack of tax. Otherwise, I would suggest since you are getting there a few days early, head over to the Outlet malls near Universal Studios. There is a Kate Spade store there where you might find better deals.
  22. The first time we went, we went over to the French side and did parasailing at Orient Beach, while there, we took in the...uhhh...natural views. The second time we went, we first walked in the port city and went to the Yoda Guy Museum, then rented a car and went to Maho Beach to watch the planes land.
  23. St. Marteen is one of my favorite places in the world. I cannot wait for them to get back to 100% You will love it there, it has an upscale island feel.
  24. I have been on Oasis Pre-revamp, and Harmony twice. Personally, I love Harmony, but I would rather do Oasis just for the entertainment options. I am with @John&LaLathe shows are just better on Oasis... I mean, a chance to see CATS three time in one week? YES PLEASE! With that said, I do not mind Fine Line on Harmony, I think it is fun. The food options seem to have gotten better on Oasis as well. Then it all comes down to the ports of call. I have done the Western Caribbean on Harmony and I loved it! Both Labedee and Coco Cay are fun, if you are looking for beach days, that sounds good to me!
  25. buy now, and you can get buy one get one half off!
