  1. I suspect you booked a guarantee, not a solo balcony. Did you look at the cabin number you were in to see if it actually is a BT? Did your confirmation say you booked a solo balcony?
  2. Here's a start, from the search on this forum - https://boards.cruisecritic.com/search/?q="gluten free"&quick=1&type=forums_topic&nodes=64&updated_after=any&sortby=relevancy Should be plenty of info there. Bottom line - be sure to fill out the form on NCL Accessible Cruising page and meet with the F&B rep when you board to get started and they should walk you through. EVERY time I got seated in a restaurant the group has been asked if there are any allergies.
  3. Depends on the ship. There's a spreadsheet in Google Docs that shows the actual sizes for the Breakaway and Getaway. The rest of the fleet - ? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10YW7fMQarer30UCHKqKJ_zLDmbyMTczCTtYf2XRflh8/pub?single=true&gid=0&output=html
  4. A table for 13 will require coordination (or two reservations) as there are no specialty dining venues with tables for 13.
  5. For those wondering - apparently there are Pickleball courts on Prima and Viva. @gentlemancruiser I suggest you go find the 'Live' threads from those ships (find the drop-down at the top of the forum and select the ship name to filter to threads naming those ships, you'll have to do one at a time), maybe if someone posted the Freestyle Dailies from their cruise you'll be able to find the info about the courts and how to reserve time.
  6. There's also a YouTube video that shows a couple quick pans (the CruiseDeckPlans pictures may be screen grabs from it)...
  7. What I found most interesting on my Escape cruise is that they don't board the ship as a matched group!! At least on that trip they didn't.
  8. It's listed on the website - https://www.ncl.com/cruise-ship/escape/whats-on-board/entertainment
  9. When I was on the Bliss in Jan/Feb Cagney's allowed 1 app, 1 soup/salad, 1 main with 2 sides and a dessert.
  10. You're not the first to ask - This video may have the first peek 1:25 into the video -
  11. Not until your next cruise. I asked - I made Gold on my cruise last year, they wouldn't give me the pin (I asked when I was getting my Silver pin). I should have asked for my Platinum pin when I went for my Gold one since I made that on my cruise this year. There have been SOME reports of people getting a cabin that was made available by someone else upgrading, but when they got there the benefits information from the guest that had originally booked the cabin had been staged, as though that person was still going to be in the room. I wonder if that's what happened. It's a lot more likely that a mistake like that could happen recently when you consider how many cabins each steward has to turn over.
  12. Technically, the answer is that they DO serve lobster in the MDR and it's every night. However, as noted, you pay for it. It's part of the Cagney's supplement to the menu, some of the Cagney's meals are available for a fee.
  13. I must have had the new bag. I wear XL and XXL clothes and fit 9 day's worth in the bag.
  14. I'm not sure I've seen you in this forum section too often... Rudeness? For pointing out that reading an entire thread before replying might be a good idea? For someone that purports to spend time around here (or ANY internet forum), one would think that would be common sense
  15. no, it's 6 as explained earlier in the thread, but if you had read the entire thread before replying and duplicating (sometimes incorrect) info you would know that...
  16. I fly Southwest when I fly domestic, so do I. But it's also a challenge wrangling multiple bags.
  17. They've changed it since I got mine, then (in 2017, and it was my SECOND Enhanced). Mine doesn't have that stylized graphic, it's a box that reads 'ENHANCED' within. The other, quick, way to tell is that is has the American flag on it rather than nothing or a star - https://dmv.ny.gov/driver-license/which-id-right-me Here's my take on the entire question - this cruise is to US ports, except for the requisite stop in Victoria. If she actually had an EDL then the BC would have been superfluous and the stress over getting the copy was unwarranted. But @Ferry_Watcher can correct me on that.
  18. The link in the post you quoted has a chart that shows exactly that. Here, I'll screenshot it and post it in the thread since that seems to be an issue -
  19. It's supposed to be. On my 15-day about half of the people I talked to had to ASK. I had to, I didn't get mine until day 8, and I had asked my cabin steward about it that day.
  20. Until my last cruise I packed the same way. My choices were two airline check-in sized suitcases for one person or have laundry done. I chose to have laundry done. Now I know how it works (and can get it free) I plan to pack lighter and just have laundry done while also taking longer trips.
  21. I see it. Next NCL cruise from that port is the Sky in September.
  22. For what it's worth - a CruiseNext Haven deposit CAN be used for a regular cabin. It's one of the footnotes here - https://www.ncl.com/cruisenext Funny enough, that page also answers the OP's question...
  23. @IAcruising on my Panama Canal transit in Jan/Feb there were, I think, 9 people that missed the ship in Miami and 6 were for sure confirmed to be joining in Colombia. I know because I knew one of them! He booked his own flights, I don't know what the financials were.
