  1. Wisconsin here.. northern Wisconsin which is pretty rural. Life here is getting back to normal slowly. Our area has been relatively unaffected by the virus and my husband and I both have continued to work through it all. We are booked in February on the Apex and unless there is a drastic turn for the worse or the cruises are cancelled we plan on being on it! By then we will need the R&R to maintain sanity and also to support the industry that captured our hearts.
  2. Thank you all! I did call and appreciate the help! Looking forward to not being a newbie at this soon!
  3. Hi everyone, Flights to/from Minneapolis are terrible, so we are looking at flying into MCO in Orlando and spending a couple nights there. Then renting a car to drive to FL. I called Hertz and the guy said he doesn't think there is a shuttle to the port from the drop off hotel office. I am not sure if he just doesn't know, but I am worried about renting a car and then being stranded away from the port. Also on the return, how to get from ship to car rental? Thank you all!! Tasha
  4. Thank you Johnin! I think we will fly in a day early, especially since I am flying out of Minneapolis in winter! First cruise in 25 years so I'm rusty. :)
  5. We are cruising on Celebrity Edge out of Fort Lauderdale at 3:30pm. How early can we arrive at the ship? I am starting to look for flights now. Also, anyone tell me how much time to plan to get from FLL to the port?
  6. Hello!! I have waited too many years for this, we just booked our first cruise after 27 years of marriage! Jan. 2020 we embark on Celebrity Edge. I see many posts that mention booking and then watching for price drops?? I thought booking now was the best time to book, but my naivete may be showing? Thank you!
