  1. Yeah - like I said, it's down as a 'bella' for my cruise but later in the year it's being changed to fantastica. I guess they deem the location of the balcony good enough to classify it as a fantastica moving forward ๐Ÿ™‚
  2. I've just noticed that my balcony cabin for my cruise in a few weeks (Bella) is down as a Fantastica balcony for the Summer 2020 deck plan. Just curious really - if one of the criteria for cabin grade is location, why the change? Like I said, not really bothered, just curious.... :-)
  3. Yes!! A month until we stop there but really glad to hear about tomorrow!! :-)
  4. thanks for the replies everyone ๐Ÿ™‚
  5. Hello everyone - my wife and are really looking forward to our Meraviglia cruise in early January and already have tours booked for our stay in Costa Maya and Roatan. In Belize however, we don't really fancy a tour but rather would probably just want to pop into the town for a bit. 2 questions please... 1. Is it walkable from the cruise terminal? If not, how much would a taxi be approx? 2. Is there much to see/do in the local town? If not, we'll probably just wander around the tourism village for a bit and then relax back on the ship... Many thanks in advance Dave :-)
  6. In my opinion the above post raises some correct observations but I also understand what @BermudaBound2014 is saying - yes, I applaud MSC for taking the time to be as safe as possible and there are obviously always 'some' unforeseen circumstances' but overall, for a company the size they are, I would say that there are some due diligence issues there at the start of the project. I'm due there as part of the Jan 05 sailing from Miami and looking forward to it! ๐Ÿ™‚
  7. we are on that exact itinerary but in early January - looking forward to following your reports :-)
  8. My wife and I are on that cruise also - not too long now! ๐Ÿ˜
  9. quick sporting question if I may - we are sailing from Miami in early January and I was wondering if you have seen any of the venues showing footie in the morning (based on time difference in the UK)? Thank you ๐Ÿ™‚
  10. You may well be right - I just meant that I expect it to be in a habitable state, otherwise people wouldnโ€™t be allowed on - Iโ€™ve never been to a Caribbean island before so whatever state itโ€™s in (within reason) is ok with me - of course, having said that, Iโ€™m aware that even the statement โ€˜within reasonโ€™ is open to interpretation!!! ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜‰
  11. We are there in early January and cannot wait! Iโ€™ve been fully expecting it to not be 100% complete but an โ€˜almost finishedโ€™ private island will do for me!!! ๐Ÿ˜Š I hope you all enjoy your visits to Ocean Cay ๐Ÿ˜Š
  12. yes, welcome to CC @garrob. I trust you enjoy your cruise! As for @Beamafar, one day I hope to have cruised as much as you - we have our 3rd coming up in January and I am totally hooked!!! ๐Ÿ˜‰
  13. Hello everyone. My wife and I are cruising around Caribbean in January (from Miami). I've noticed a number of threads regarding leaving the ship as early as possible but I'm looking for some confirmation on the opposite. Am I right in saying that if I leave my luggage outside the room the night before and then leave my room at the appropriate time, I can 'hang around on the ship' until the latest point people have to be off? Thanks in advance for your response :-)
