Someday we will all get to cruise again, and I'm planning for the future. We would be leaving from Yokohama, and plan 2 nights prior to our departure. I've been looking at the New Grand hotel, and the Royal Park Hotel. Does anyone have any input? I've read a few trip advisor reviews, but I'm still kind of stuck. I like the idea of being right outside of Chinatown, but the Royal Park appears more elegant, and seems like more of a splurge. Any feedback as to area, accommodations, etc would be appreciated.

I have cruised on NCL a few times, but its been a few years and of course, everything changes. Due to the right for us Japan itinerary in 2022, my son and I would like to book this cruise. Under the current promotion, it says up to 1400.00 for drinks. Will they apply this to a drink package if you want to just get a package? Also, I wasn't used to the ala carte dining, it used to be a set price, so it seems like you just get monetary credits now. Also, can you reserve several specialty restaurants before you go, or is there a limit? We are looking at a penthouse suite, but wasn't sure if

I'm always ready for a break from winter dreariness, so spring gets my vote. It seems like in August, you have the option of swimming, fun in the sun, etc. The kids have probably had fun all summer anyway, so why not do something fun in the middle of the school year?
