  1. I’m glad you pointed this out. It’s good to carefully read what is written by others.
  2. And just like that POOF, it will be gone one day. (And there are no “receipts” involved.)
  3. Envelopes will always be available at the Purser’s Desk. Can you imagine the hue and cry from the staff if they disappeared?
  4. Can't argue successfully with a 30 year old "expert". The ignore function captures another one!!
  5. What deck? If I get your response in time, I’ll post a photo.
  6. Clearly you are not happy with the decisions made by the bridge. Please share how you would have dealt with it all if you were the ship’s Master?
  7. @Coral is spot on when discussing the covered pool onn14. We are on Sapphire now and most have abandoned the main pool (too cool and windy) in favor of the covered pool. It’s one of our favorite places. Note the fact that there are two levels here. But avoid the ping pong table!!!
  8. We are on her now. LOVE IT!!! Pretty sure you will to. Enjoy😃
  9. When we were on Sky 3 weeks ago, they were out of Tonic water so our set up was only 18. We swapped out for 20 Diet Cokes. Now on Sapphire. Had 20 to begin with. Did exact same swap.
  10. There will always be those who desperately long to return to “those thrilling days of yesteryear”.
  11. Dress comfortably. However you define that. Don’t let the fashion shamus dictate to you how you should dress. If you are comfortable in a tux, go for it. If you are comfortable in shorts, go for it. And no, whatever you choose, you will not be turned away. Although the fashion shamus will attempt to frighted you into believing otherwise.
  12. Not that easy. Those of us who were green were in a much shorter line (compared to blue) but still had to queue to have our passports checked. After that perfunctory check, we proceeded to the elite lounge. Added maybe 3 minutes to the elite lounge after entering the building. The line to get to the port security/X-ray station was the bear. As others have already discussed. Edit: thought I’d better mention that I’m referencing post #24 which discussed last week’s embarkation in San Pedro.
  13. You are so right. And as if to prove your point, here we sit headed for docking in Ecuador tomorrow morning on the Sapphire. Our favorite ship in the Princess fleet. And BTW, at a much lower per day cost than our recent Sky experience. It’s all about planning ahead, far ahead. BGW
