First thing in my mind is a deliberate act of terrorism or sabotage. The videos I am looking at do not show that ship anywhere near the center of the channel. If one person really wanted to f*** up Baltimore, one of the biggest shipping port in the USA and the surrounding metro area of MILLIONS of people who commute over that bridge. They did just that. Yes, it could be an accident, but this looks extremely suspicious.

What is the rough qualification to be offered an elite casino offer with Carnival?
Your cruise bankroll for the casino needs to be around $5000.
-
You'll want to start with a casino bankroll of at least $2000 to be in consideration for "free" offers.

Smoking on ships is the greatest fail industry wide.

I see that Virgin Voyages has taken the market and once you get that pier space, you hang on for dear life. Virgin has lousy Ports of Call as they don't have the seniority to get those valuable berths.

Might need to lose the husband. Sounds like a bad apple!

They have already announced that the Ocean Navigator and the Ocean Voyager are up for sale (doubt anyone other than a scrapper will make an offer).
The Ocean Voyager has moved into Portland Maine harbor, tied up alongside the Ocean Navigator. I wish the city could buy them cheap and get some runs going out of here. They look sad, kinda alone and cold.

There are always people on CC looking to stiff the servers on these ships. FFS tip folks. It won't kill you.

Where in the article did it say Carnival owes the ladies something? Or is that just speculation?
I am purely speculating that there will be an out of court, go away, settlement. Or the publicity will go on and on and on.

Her question does intrigue me. If a person did not intend to do this and just missed the ship as so many do. I suspect that this would mean a guided exit from the island by authorities and a flight home at your own expense, but could a person get away with just booking a hotel and a flight home in a few days? Is there some requirement for reporting your missing of the ship? I know the ship reports you, but I doubt that means an APB goes out for you. Anyone have any real experience in missing the ship unintentionally with a passport in hand? Did it feel like you could have booked a room and stayed a few days?
Question.........LUGGAGE?????

It has nothing to do with the Elation other than that's how those ladies got to Freeport that day.
This resort IS a Carnival Excursion. They went privately (cheaper), but it is enough that Carnival will have to shell out some money. Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with Carnival and I'm sure it WAS on every ships excursion list. Tag....Carnival is it! Had they booked through ship......holy hell!

BEWARE OF THE PIRATES COVE RESORT. It WAS a Carnival excursion, even though they went privately!

Yes she can. If its the Casino package where I get drinks throughout and she gets drinks in the casino. I just pay to upgrade her.

And taking more time to turn around making it later. These extra minutes could be the difference between making a flight and missing it.
If someone, foolishly, had a 10 AM flight........agreed!

The Ocean Navigator is STILL in Portland, Maine after its fire in October. Don't know if they have the money or parts to fix it. Neat looking ship, I pass it everyday. Hopefully my city seizes it and we have a new party boat!

@mitsugirly since you're going to be on the Panorama, that ship doesn't have a bar in the casino. when I was on her, there were at least 4 servers in the casino. If the casino is packed, and it was every night when we were on her, it might be hard to get a server's attention. We got great service as we tipped for every drink brought to us.
I tip a buck on a drink order, the servers ALWAYS know where you are!
