    A dental repair kit. You can get them at the drugstore. Came in handy when a crown came off in my mouth.

    Well, I guess "something special" is in the eye of the beholder. I don't eat snails, and the lobster is dinky and dry. I can get a steak at CG on that night, and I don't have to go for pasta at Sabatini's. Have you heard the old saying "To each his own"?

    That would be very subjective. I'm usually too warm. Take a light jacket or sweater with you just in case.

    Why do cruisers care about anything? I would bet there is something you care about that others don't. Lots of people love formal night MDR. Lots of others don't. They like to plan ahead. "Be prepared."

    This is frustrating. We are on that June 17 cruise. Will they switch back to Skagen (?) like they have done on the current cruise?

    Well, if he told her she wouldn't board without the passport, I would take him at his word. He was the guy at the gate, not you. "Charles told me" aren't magic words.

    “I was told…” won’t do any good if the ship sails without you. Really, this friend of the OP needs to find out the rules and follow them.

    It's been awhile since I sat in a PES waiting area with the coffee and pastries. The last one I remember was SF a few years back. Do they still exist?

    We just got the email about tendering at Skagway. The Royal. I have been reading about the rock slides and wondered if we would be affected. We have an excursion booked through the ship, so I'm assuming we will be able to tender ashore in time.
