Think all the restaurants on Regent are good in their individual way. We were on Splendor 3 weeks ago and had two exceptional meals in Chartreuse.

Don't need to book for lunch at the specialty restaurants. The daily Passages newsletter shows which one(s) are open on any particular day, they are not just open on sea days. They do have lunch menus so the full evening menu may not be available, if there is any item you want that is not available at lunch I would suggest you request it that morning or the night before. Enjoy your cruise

Definitely worth booking an extra night, ask your TA to do it and request the same room for the stay with Regent. We did this a few years ago for a cruise from Auckland - arrived at Hotel at 9:30 am after 25 hours of flying, had a shower, slept and when we came down to the lobby at about 3:00 pm there were still some Regent guests waiting for their room to be allocated.

This does not happen if you are from the UK, the deposit is 20% of the fare and is lost if you cancel up to 180.days before the cruise. I really annoys me that non US passengers are treated as second class citizens. I do not understand why all passengers are not treated the same.
