  1. You should be getting that extra 25% put back into your account. It may be listed as "one time use" but in reality, you NEVER used it. It may have been APPLIED to your cruise in December, but since the cruise never occurred, it was never USED. I'd call an NCL agent and find out what happened to it.
  2. We also received 125% of EVERYTHING we had paid for when our April cruise cancelled, even the excursions we had paid. We then almost immediately reserved a November 2020 cruise, taking advantage of the 20% discount being offered at the time, and using only money from the FCC. When this November cruise was recently cancelled, they sent us an email with some fuzzy itemization about what we were going to get back and it didn't seem to add up with what they were now posting in my NCL Latitudes account. There seemed to be a difference of almost $3,000 dollars that they appeared to be st
  3. I have talked to 2 different NCL agents and their answers were the same. Basically...... no way, dude. I'm going to contact my credit card company next (thanks for thee suggestion). I'm also going to write NCL's Guest Relations Department and explain the situation, but I'm not holding out any hope and am wondering if anyone else has had any luck.
  4. Just wondering. Has anyone ever had any success in getting their money back from Norwegian once it has been placed into a Future Cruise Credit? There must be some recourse for getting money back in certain situations (i.e. death or infirmity that results in never being able to sail again). At my age, and with the present worldwide disease situation, I have reservations about near-future cruising and would really like my money back instead of letting it sit in a FCC that I may never use. There is also the possibility of cruise lines declaring bankruptcy and losing it all that way.
  5. Finally received our FCC confirmation e-mail on April 3rd, nineteen days after we had told our PCC that we wanted to take the credit and book a future cruise. The 125% covered everything we had paid up to that point, including Air/Air Taxes, Prepaid Service Charges, Beverage Package Service Charges, Dining Package Service Charges, and the Shore Excursions we had paid them for. We were able to use it to book a mini suite on a future cruise of the same duration and destination for the same price (with the extra 20% discount if we booked a cruise by April 10th) as our cancelled cruise's balcony.
  6. I realize that. I just don't know why they post that "this promo will expire in X days" if they aren't really going to end. They DID change one thing in the promo between the time we booked our last cruise and the time we booked our new one. Their offer of a $100 down payment per booking on the first cruise changed to a 2-for-1 down payment (which ended up being $250 dollars).
  7. Yes. Like Cole Thornton said, It has to be an actual excursion that Norwegian offers in Miami. NCL does offer simple bus transfers to the airport for about $16 per person, but those transfers do not qualify for the $50 excursion credit. In the last year we booked a NCL cruise with bus transfers to the airport after the cruise. When our flight info finally came through, we found that our return flight home wasn't leaving Miami until 7 pm. We then opted to take one of the NCL excursions in Miami post-cruise (with the $50 credit included) that ended at the airport late in the afternoon. When we b
  8. We did NOT book through the casino department and we have received our FCC in the correct 125% amount. The 125% covered everything we had paid up to that point, including Air/Air Taxes, Prepaid Service Charges, Beverage Package Service Charges, Dining Package Service Charges, and the Shore Excursions we had paid them for. It DID take 19 days for us to get confirmation of it, but we were able to use it to book a mini suite on a future cruise of the same duration and destination for the same price (with the extra 20% discount if we booked a cruise by April 10th) as our cancelled cruise's balcony
  9. Unbelievable!!!!! I feel your pain. We booked a new cruise through our PCC 2 days after our cruise was cancelled. We were somewhat in a hurry because the website said that the FREE AT SEA benefits for our new cruise were expiring that day. WE were shocked when the PCC asked us for another $250 as a deposit for the new cruise. THEY ALREADY HAD THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FROM US THAT THEY NEED TO CREDIT US...…. AND THEY HAVE THE GALL TO ASK FOR MORE!! And then...… the FREE AT SEA benefits that they said were expiring ARE STILL BEING OFFERED exactly as advertised before the expiration date, 14 days la
  10. Thanks all. I ask only because we were going to use the extra 25% to possibly upgrade and wanted to know the exact amount so we could make an informed decision. The FAQ page of the NCL FCC's says the FCC's should be in everyone's account by April 1st, but I was wondering how many may have already got it. Also saw that there would be an EXTRA 20% discount for anyone using their FCC's to book a new cruise ONLINE. I wonder if that's in addition to the 30% discount ALREADY being offered online. The extra 20% offer would be ridiculous if you had to choose between that or the 30% being offered to ev
  11. Has anyone here who has taken the Future Cruise Credit for their March/April Norwegian cruises that got cancelled gotten confirmation of that credit yet? I called my PCC 2 weeks ago to take the credit and sign up for a new cruise. Haven't heard or seen ANYTHING yet about my credit, but they DID squeeze us another $250 on the spot during that phone call for a down payment on the new cruise.
  12. Has anyone downloaded and used the "Cruise Norwegian" phone app? I'm interested in the "Phone and Message package" supposedly available through the app that allows you to call and text fellow passengers while onboard the ship. There is a one-time "nominal fee" for this package, but I am unable to find how much that fee is. I've looked all over the website and the app, but find nothing regarding this fee. Has anyone used this app and "phone and message" package? What was the fee?
  13. I will agree. Get on the Circumvesuviana train at Porta Nolana if you can That being said, though...….. on the first Sunday of November when we were there, we caught the Circumvesuviana train at Garibaldi and had no problem finding seating. We must have been lucky.
  14. Just an FYI. If you are in Naples on the 1st Sunday of the month, admission to both Pompeii and the National Archeological Museum are free. You still have to get a ticket at the admission booth, but there is no charge. Following Rick Steves instructions we caught the metro near the port to the train station at Garibaldi where we got on the train to Pompeii. Your ticket for the train BACK from Pompeii is good for a period of time on the Naples Metro. When we returned from Pompeii, we caught the metro for a short ride to the Archeological Museum. After the museum we followed Rick Steves audio to
