What ship?  Things are a bit different on Solstice Class ships versus Edge Class ships.

I experienced this banging noise on Beyond in an IV cabin, 7161, in November 2022.  I reported it on these boards.  We sailed Apex, IV cabin 7231, in November of 2023 and experienced no noise issues.  We’ve also sailed Edge several times in IV cabins with no noise issues.  This leads me to believe the Edge and Apex don’t suffer (at least to the extent) from the noise issues that Beyond does.  That worries me about subsequent builds.  We are sailing soon on Beyond in a Sunset Veranda and I haven’t heard reports of these aft cabins being affected.  I’ll report if our cabin does.

We filed for an extension.  DH’s family company never has their forms ready in time to file in April…

Has anyone had personal experience of a cruise line contacting a noted emergency contact?  I wonder if it’s just a legal requirement to have such information.  On Celebrity during online checkin there is a place to list an emergency contact but the form only allows you to list a first name…no spaces.  LOL.  I suppose you could run their name together:  JohnGreen.

Yes, your Beverage Package works at Craft Social.  It has been excluded from the bars that can be used for the Elite Happy Hour(s) drink menu.

Oh boy.  OJ Simpson.  We were doing some indoor painting during the trial and watched Court TV all day.  It was absolutely astounding to me to see what the MSM’s reporting in the evening was of the recap.  Not at all what had really occurred!  Felt especially sorry for Ron Goldman’s family.  Glad OJ was found guilty in the civil case.  Vincent Bugliosi wrote a fantastic book about the trial:  Outrage:  The Five Reasons OJ Simpson Got Away With Murder.  Also felt terrible for OJ and Nicole’s children.

I’ll be interested in hearing about the shorter cruises too.  We have a four night Reflection cruise later this year.  In January we did a five night on Equinox and we enjoyed the younger, more energetic vibe.  Especially liked not seeing the sea of scooters parked at the MDR entrance!

They sell out quickly.

In amongst the regular ice cream in the case just opposite the hand washing station port side of the Buffet.

The minibar is often only checked after you have vacated the cabin…when it is being made up for the next occupant.  So sometimes charges from the minibar are added after you have taken a screenshot or gotten a hard copy at Guest Services.  I’ve had this happen a few times; a call to Celebrity has always quickly resolved the issue.

The cats are never allowed on the lanai.  And no flowers/plants of any kind in the house.

It was changed to a plated/menu affair way before Covid.  The “explanation” at the time was the health department (or whatever) would not allow a buffet on a carpeted area.  On S Class where the Elite breakfast is served in Tuscan the buffet was set up specifically for that meal and taken down when it was over to revert back to the full tabled restaurant.  As there is tile at the entrance to Tuscan, no reason the buffet couldn’t have been shifted there…IMHO.

We bought seven more agapanthus last Monday to put in our front yard around our palm tree.  Tuesday, instead of planting them (my desire) DH was pruning our ornamental grasses.  And accidentally sliced his finger open with the shears.  Yikes!  Luckily it didn’t need stitches…just antiseptic ointment and bandaids.  But now the agapanthus are on the front porch waiting for him to heal.  Grrr.  However, Thursday afternoon we had hail!!!!  Good thing the agapanthus were not freshly planted!!

@Ocean Boy, Minnie will jump up on counters she knows she’s not allowed on…to eat flowers in an arrangement, I discovered soon after we brought her home.  So no more cut flowers in the house!!  Luckily I have bromeliads, hibiscus, peace lilies and hydrangeas on our lanai.

I’m so sorry you are under the weather!  I know what you mean about “not fair!”  I wear sunscreen all the time, and a hat if outdoors and never lay out in the sun.  DH on the other hand, has a shaved head, wears no sunscreen and plays golf etc without wearing a hat.  Guess which of us needed MOHS surgery? 😖

Although after our experience in IV cabin 7161 on Beyond and experiencing the banging firsthand had me saying I’d never sail her again…we too and trying a Sunset Veranda in May and hoping for the best!
