  1. we have $500 in shipboard credits. what is the best way to use them? I know excursions aren't always a wise choice thru the cruise lines but not sure we're interested in the specialty restaurants. We're cruising on the Edge. I know we can use them towards the Spa as well. We already have a free prem. bev. pkg and gratuities and internet also free with our package. Any ideas?
  2. Thanks for responding. I'll post after our return.
  3. April 9, 2019 4 posts Report post #1 Posted 31 minutes ago We'll be on this ship in 2 weeks. Have read that there's not enough bars. Is the Magic Carpet a bar that you can use no matter what class of stateroom you're booked into? I've read that it's a restaurant and is used for private functions. Can you just go there and get a drink anytime or is that restricted to certain times of the day/night?
  4. We're booked in the MDR for a late reservation on the Edge in 2 weeks. How flexible are they with allowing us to visit the other 3 complimentary dining rooms? We tried to book select dining but it was already full when we scheduled our cruise. We'd like to have dinner in all 4 dining rooms if possible during the week. We usually eat at 8 p.m. or later.

  6. I don't think it's a tender port. We're traveling to Tortola on the Edge and the excursion is a beach afternoon on Jost Van Dyke so we take a boat from the cruise port to Jost Van Dyke. I just wasn't sure how far before our 1 p.m. departure that we have to actually meet up with the group we're traveling with and was hoping it wouldn't be more than 1/2 hr. before.
  7. So we've been on cruises recently but never on a ship excursion. Since we have a lot of onboard credit we booked 2 Celebrity Edge excursions. When it says time is 1 to 5 p.m. for the excursion, what exactly does that mean. I'm wondering how far before 1 p.m. we have to meet somewhere to join the group we're traveling with. Looking to get massages earlier that day and would like to know how much time we have in the morning to do that.
