  1. Puerto Rico now denies a lot of ships for disembarkation. Celebrity Summit was denied yesterday https://wwl.radio.com/articles/no-entry-cruise-ship-denied-docking-in-san-juan-pr Norwegian Epic was denied today. Carnival Fascination and Freedom of the Seas are denied too https://cruiseradio.net/san-juan-turns-away-cruise-ships-vessels-sail-to-florida/
  2. I emailed Harry Sommer and Katty Byrd to see if the policy can apply to us departing on March 8th and their canned answer is NO. Perhaps you should email them too. If more complaints, may be they made an exception HSommer at nclcorp dot com kbyrd at ncl dot com We thank you for writing in. But at this point, the cruise is operating, we have strict protocols in place, and all that is left for us to do is wish you a pleasant voyage. We would love for you to join us.
  3. So you are still going tomorrow. I will cancel my tomorrow cruise today. I will fight them for FCC later. The risk is too much for me to get on the cruise this point.
  4. I also have March 8 cruise. I will cancel for sure now. If they denied me my Acc, I will keep escalating and will try to file a dispute with credit card company. I wasn't able to talk to any agent after waiting for 2 hr.
  5. More port denial: https://sflcn.com/costa-magica-passengers-not-allowed-to-disembark-at-st-kitts-port-zante/
  6. I have a cruise departing from Puerto Rico that I need to end the cruise early and probably disembark on one of the Caribbean Islands. So Jones act does not apply. Do I talk to the customer desk on the ship at the beginning of the cruise to request this ? Anyone has done this before can give me the instruction.
  7. With the new development on the Grand Princess and MSC Opera. I am seriously freak-out. Starting my Caribbean cruise this weekend.
  8. Carnival Fascination will not go to St Lucia this week: https://cruiseradio.net/carnival-cruise-ship-skips-another-caribbean-port/
  9. I really hope it is negative. There are too many bad news already. Another ship in Europe is also in limbo. Previous passenger has coronavirus. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/coronavirus-2000-cruise-ship-passengers-21631745
  10. This is a disturbing news. I wonder if the islands gonna overreacted in the next few weeks: https://www.ktvu.com/news/sonoma-county-set-to-declare-emergency-as-another-coronavirus-case-emerges-after-travel-to-mexico
  11. This is scary. I wonder what will happen to the passenger on the current cruise when they get back to San Francisco.
  12. Once you on the ship, is there a way to tell how many passengers are currently sick? Stop by sick bay and ask?
  13. passengers are clear to disembark https://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2020/03/03/world/europe/ap-eu-virus-outbreak-norway-cruise-ship.html
  14. There seems to be active negotiations between the cruise company and the islands. This article talks about Jamaica and Carnival. I suspect similar things between RCL and St Lucia that result in port change. http://jamaica-gleaner.com/article/lead-stories/20200303/cruise-clash-late-night-talks-appear-falter-carnival-threatens-pull
  15. http://jamaica-gleaner.com/article/lead-stories/20200303/cruise-clash-late-night-talks- appear-falter-carnival-threatens-pull Jamaica and Carnivals stand-off
