  1. You do realize this is CRUISE CRITIC and not POLITICAL/COVID CRITIC[emoji19] Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  2. This is what we are doing. We still have one scheduled for October but doubt it. The other 3 are scheduled throughout 2021. We shall see. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  3. Cruise lines are meeting with CDC today (Thursday 6/11). Read that nothing may come of it; but let’s see what we may hear. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  4. They are still trying to get all these employees home and it's June 1st. How do they ever think they can restart cruising August 1st? How long will it take to bring them BACK onboard and ready to go? And not to mention getting all the cruise ships back to ports around the world???
  5. Nope. I do not want to be subjected to machines to eat and I don't want franchises to invade a vacation. And to be nickel and dimed to death for food choices--yes choices😒.
  6. Through a mask with a straw! Oh wait a minute--NO STRAWS AVAILABLE! 🤪
  7. If you have a FCC on Royal can you use it instead on Celebrity??
  8. NEW YORK - Royal Caribbean Cruises, which has seen its stock take a big drop in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, says that is has increased its revolving credit capacity by $550 million to bolster its liquidity. The company says it is also reducing capital expenditures, operating expenses and taking other actions in an effort to improve liquidity by at least another $1.7 billion in 2020. The company is also planning reductions to the 2021 capital expenditures and operating expenses. I hope this is not a harbinger of things to come 😞
  9. I think this thread has officially jumped the shark.🤦🏻‍♀️
  10. This doesn't help. And after listening to a YouTuber, how disasterous the quarantine on Diamond Princess has been, I'm not surprised that the numbers continue to climb. We are on a cruise out of Australia in April, and I for one am really scared. This is a "bucket list" trip but I am afraid. I do not want to get sick. We have a new grand child coming in May, and I do not want to be quarantined or worse. (We are not scheduled to return until May). We continue to watch the news, and monitor the cruise lines' information. What else can we do? (Even though we have the cruise insurance, we will lose a lot of money if we cancel). But I would rather lose money than health or worse.
  11. Lelepa has a length of about five kilometers in north-south direction and an area of 160 hectares. The highest point is Mt. Tifit (202 m). The population of Lelepa is about 500 people. The largest town on the island Natapao (pop. 350), is located on the southern edge of the island. At the northern end of the island lies the village Lelo. Found this on line.
  12. My 2 year old grandaughter can blow hotter air than those blow dryers! 😁 Bring your own if you can.
  13. We were invited to dine with the captain on our Adventure of the Seas cruise in May. We had renewed our wedding vows and the captain was our officiant. We got an official invitation that was delivered to MDR table by the head waiter. Very fancy. :). We were honored. All the other guests at the captain's table that night were "high ups". Quite an experience.
  14. I apologize. I never thought that it was purified. I assumed what we had was Spring. But as they say...assuming anything is a big mistake. 😏
