  1. I received the same message when I clicked. However, I then received a 2nd email and clicking on the link worked that time.
  2. The changes effect voyages that DEPART on or after April 12, 2023. Since you are currently booked on a voyage that departs on or after April 12, 2023, the new legal terms will apply to your cruise
  3. This part on COVID concerns me - "may or will include mandatory use of face coverings outside of passenger's cabin." Is this in case of a severe outbreak? COVID-19 Policies and Procedures. Passenger understands that Carrier’s COVID-19 Policies and Procedures may or will include (but are not be limited to): (1) providing an accurate, truthful and complete health questionnaire in a form and containing any and all health or travel-related questions as required by Carrier in its sole discretion, for each Passenger prior to boarding; (2) pre-embarkation and/or periodic testing and temperature checks of each Passenger; (3) modified capacity rules for activities (including but not limited to restaurants, gyms, and entertainment events onboard and for shore excursions) which may limit or eliminate the ability of Passenger to participate in particular activities; (4) mandatory use by each Passenger (except where medically contraindicated) of face coverings in most locations outside of the Passenger’s cabin while onboard, during embarkation, disembarkation and shore excursions; (5) mandatory social distancing of Passengers at any/all times while on board and during embarkation, disembarkation, and shore excursions; (6) additional restrictions during shore excursions depending on local conditions, including but not limited to denial of disembarkation at destinations unless participating in only Carrier-approved shore excursions; (7) mandatory hand- sanitizing by Passenger upon entry or exit of any public areas; (8) confinement of Passengers to cabins, quarantine or emergency disembarkation of Passenger if, in Carrier’s sole discretion, such steps are necessary to prevent or slow the spread of COVID-19;
  4. Who knows what they'd say, but I call those trousers.
  5. Thanks for the great trip report and for posting the Dailies. I'm interested in learning if the OVC is as scaled back at dinner as others have reported. Thanks!
  6. This thread has photos of the Beyond's Dailies:
  7. There were some great deals last summer. My TA got a great group rate on the Beyond's October 2023 TA. We are $150 per person per day for an IV with AL pricing.

  9. Thanks - since I'm not a vegetarian, I wouldn't have asked to see that menu.
  10. A question about TA menus - are there different menus in the MDRs each night, or do the menus repeat after 7 days?
  11. Can you order the exclusive dishes of one main restaurant at another one? I've seen reports that you can, but I wasn't sure if those reports were second hand or not.
  12. I've seen reports that the Edge class ships no longer have early or late seating, only select. was that true for you?
  13. @Clay Clayton - I've really been enjoying your posts on Alaska and Hawaii! Grab some Band-Aid blister bandages before your next trip. They have both heel and toe varieties. The key is to put them on BEFORE you have the blister (when you're just feeling some irritation) and then leave them on. They stay put through showers and the pool and are a life saver.
  14. Bombas has 3XL (although not tall) Merino wool shirts for $74. Men's Merino Wool Crew Neck Long Sleeve T-Shirt – Bombas
  15. I'll be interested to hear what the weather is like in Alaska this late in the season. We cruised Alaska in July and still had fairly cool weather. Going to Hawaii right after Alaska will be quite a contrast! Are you still packing carryon only? 😁
  16. I brought hiking poles on our 2021 Viking TA and checked the TSA's web site. They say hiking poles aren't allowed in carryon luggage, so I put mine in our checked bag. It also says the final decision is left with the TSA agent so he or she may have considered them as mobility aids instead of sporting equipment. 17. Where was this tour posted and how did you sign up for it? We're going on our first Celebrity cruise next year and would love a behind the scenes tour.
  18. Thanks so much for one of the best cruise reviews I've ever read! My first Celebrity Cruise will be next year on the Beyond, and we'll even be stopping in some of the same ports, so I've gleaned tons of information on the Beyond's restaurants and snack areas and quiet places to relax. Do you have any Daily Programs from a sea day that you could post? Our cruise begins in Rome and ends in Fort Lauderdale, so we'll have lots of sea days. Just wondering what type of activities they have on those days.
  19. Thanks for the great review and the photos! I'll be on the Beyond late next year and was interested in the Solarium as a possible spot for lots of relaxing time, but wondered how hot it gets in there.
  20. Don't forget to remove any Restaurant reservations on that day before you try to book Chef's Table or Manfredi's.
