Hello.I realised this morning how close our cruise is.My wife has told me I can get the cases out of the false roof on Wednesday. We travel down to Southampton on Friday to stay overnight at the Grand Harbour and board the Celebrity Eclipse on Saturday.I hope the drinks package is sorted out by then. Rodger.
My wife and I will be on the Eclipse with you. There's a Cruise Critic Role Call, if you'd like to join us. We'll be having an informal get together at the Sunset Bar right after the muster drill. :) Can't wait! -Steve

Disappointing First Time on Celebrity

Any chance that these issues, at least the beverage package issues, will get resolved by my next Celebrity cruise on Eclipse in 11 days (5/24 sailing), when my wife and I will be using the classic beverage with package? I really hope so. At least Eclipse supposedly has Alaskan Amber beer, my favorite! Thanks for monitoring this web site and responding. -Steve

Partial Transit Panama Canal

We also did one of those partial transits of the Panama Canal on Brilliance in 2004. We had a rear facing Aft cabin and had breakfast on our balcony while going through the locks..so cool! Loved it!
5. We haven't used My Time Dining. However, it appears to be much like traditional dining, only you select the start time, and there may be some wait time if you want the same waiter and assistant each time.

Park n Stay hotels in Boston?

@138east - Carol, I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I had to thank you for your tips on Boston hotels and booking them. :) My wife and I are sailing out of BOS 10/22/2011 on Jewel OTS. We are arriving in BOS just before noon by air on 10/20 and staying a 2 nights visiting BOS pre-cruise. My $141 bid via Priceline.com for a 3 1/2 star hotel in the "Copley Square - Theatre District got accepted by the Sheraton Boston Hotel, which is a 54% savings, when compared to booking the same through Travelocity or Expedia. Total with taxes is $333 compared to $717! Below is a link where I sahred this info with the others on our sailing, where I gave you some well deserved credit. Thanks again Carol! -Steve (a/k/a Stang05) http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1321471&page=2

Summit dry dock refurbishment

Jeroen, Thank you so much for posting the images of Summit sailing out of drydock. Summit should be boarding passengers today in South Hampton, then we are next to board her in Barcelona on May 11th! We're so excited!! :)
8. Glad the photos were helpful. :) BTW, Our cabin pictured was #8712, and it had a pull down bed that worked out very well for my 17 yr old.
9. Below are some photos of our aft cabin (E1) on Freedom. It's a normal cabin, not JS size, only the balcony is bigger. For 2 adults and 17 yr old son, it was just perfect.
