  1. The 'bowling alley' balconies on the Spirit Class ships are 2 ft deeper than regular balconies. The long balconies on deck 5 are not as deep as the true 'bowling alley' balconies on decks 6, 7 and 8. 🙂
  2. When we first stated cruising, as part of a group from our neighborhood. Shortly after that firs cruise, PVP contacted and we used for all future cruises until he got a different position with Carnival and he recommended a replacement. We have used her ever since. Regarding cabin information she has access to much more information than you can see on the Carnival deck plans. She knows the ships and has cruised on several. When goes on cruises or land vacations, she always gives us the name, phone number and e-mail of her substitute. Works very well for us. Our next crui
  3. Yes, the Interior Promenade on Deck 3 is quite nice and quiet.
  4. Be sure to check out the Interior Promenade on Deck 3 forward -- Very quiet.
  5. I agree with PhillyFan's recommendation about the Serenity area, Lido Deck 9 aft. Nice pool, hot tub and great bar. Also there is shaded seating areas if you don't want to sit in the sun.
  6. I agree. Thought they were asking about an aft deck area overlooking the wake. 🙂
  7. All I see on the deck plans for the Sunrise, deck 3 aft, is the Sunshine dining room.
  8. 11/21 and 11/29 on the Radiance (hopefully). It will be our 50th and 51st on Carnival. 🙂
  9. Thank you for the correction. I saw P and and jumped to the wrong P word. 😞
  10. Our first cruise was on the Fantasy in 2004. A group in our neighborhood had arranged a cruise for 4 couples. One had to drop out and we were asked if we would like to take their place. We said yes. It was a 4 day to Nassau and Freeport. We are now looking forward (hopefully) to our 50th and 51st Carnival cruise on the Radiance in November. 🙂
  11. Yes, for us this was a good choice. Aft wrap balcony on the Radiance, 8 day cruise. Fingers crossed. :-)
  12. Congrats 🙂 Enjoy your first Diamond cruise.
  13. The Legend is still the Legend. Sunshine was originally the Triumph.
  14. We are booked for our 50th cruise on the Radience in November (hope, hope, hope). Our understanding that is we get an OBC worth 50% of our fare. Right or wrong? (Doesn't have any relation to being Diamond.)
  15. We also prefer the Coves vs regular balconies. So nice watching birds, flying fish, dolphins, etc. And most of the time we are in the shade. 🙂
  16. Thank you very much. 🙂 Did not know my browser could do a translation. (You can tell I'm an elder when it comes to computer stuff.)
  17. Your posts are of no help to those of us who don't know Spanish. Can you tell us what they said?
  18. Ugh 😞 Bad news for us. We are booked for 11/21 and 11/29 for our 50th and 51st cruises. Fingers crossed. 🙂
